Boy walks half down on the broken tracks
Father said, "my son come on back"
So much trouble I must leave behind
You can still do well I may remind

Oh hold on
Oh hold on

I've seen my eyes when they're cloudy and dark
You call to your lord like an old skylark
This will show us that the devil breaks
I am counting down all of my days

Oh hold on
I hold on yea and I hold on
Oh hold on
Oh I hold on yea I hold on
I hold on now, why old on nye
I hold on now, why hold on nye

Oh hold on
Oh oh hold on

Oh hold on
Come on back my son
Come on back my son
Oh hold on
Before skies are grey and my day is done
Oh hold on
Come on back my son
Come on back
Oh hold on
Before skies are grey and my day is done

thanks just spit coffee out(G)

Not entirely sure I like the drawling vocal style of Kings of Leon and Sons of the East, but I'll continue to give it a listen.
GOLD WORDS: "I hold on yea and I hold on"
kinda like a kings of leon tune with a banjo and an accent.
Australian? Where'd that nasty accent come from?

Now that is a look. Also, this song got me at the banjo.

That is hilarious! I figured that had to be taken at Olsen Field at TAMU but if not... still hilarious! Something I could see an Aggie doing... I say with pride and can because I am class of '92... Whoop!
First time I'm hearing this one, and I'm liking the clean sound of the banjo playing, which is probably what got me to the initial 7 rating instead of my default 6 for almost everything new to my ears here.

Long Live RP!!
Eew!
