It's a fine time to train animals
To gather ourselves in herds.
You know we'll never die,
or show anyway signs of grave concern.

It's the right time to write back home
To share what I've learned and heard.
You see we're never right,
The critic compares to what we've already learned.

I keep seeing our lives slo-mo
Keep telling our lives slo-mo

You know we'll never die,
or show anyway signs of grave concern.

I keep seeing our lives
Keep telling our lives
I keep feeling like I don't know
Keep feeling like I don't know
Keep seeing our lives slo-mo
Keep telling our lies slo-mo

Very reminiscent of Pinback, (another California band!)...addictively cool groove!

Came here to say how much this reminds me of Pinback
Did "I Follow Rivers" borrow from that drum break a bit?

Rebecca, thanks so much for adding this to the playlist! I hope others enjoy as much as I do and I can't wait to see what RPs listeners have to say about it (good, bad or indifferent). Really appreciate all that you and Bill do and hope you are able to keep doing it for exactly as long as you want to - and not a moment less, nor a minute longer (and may that be for a long time to come {#Smile}).
very few people grok what it means to have a soulmate smarter than you

That's exactly who I thought it was at first! Had to see if it was a new album by them. Adding the album to my playlist.

Needs a real drummer.

Always, David Kitt.
Meh.  Synth percussion isn't my thing.    Moving on.... (but I'm always thankful RP has such variety!)

Agreed! I listen to Pinback a lot lately (discovered thru RP ofc) and I didn't even catch that - but you're right - very similar feel. This track and many by Pinback are just great to listen and work to.
