Listening just now, Bill mentioned the album cover.  Holy Frijole!  But then, looking at the Wikipedia article for Tommy James, I find that his record company, Roulette, was a mob front and that they owe him millions in royalties they kept for themselves!  Wow.

Haven't heard this anywhere in decades. RP has rolled it twice—2x—in the span of two weeks.

I missed the first time, though, but when I did hear the first few seconds of this instance, {#Shhh}.

The album artwork is something I wish I hadn't seen, though. Rough and smooth, I guess.

Neither had I seen that album cover.  Very creepy.  I still like this song, but this would not be my favorite from TJ.  Maybe a conversion or something happened post Shondell's.

I've heard this song off and on for 45 YEARS, and never seen the album cover.  And that's probably a good thing, as Tommy was always a "singles guy" for me, and that cover is pretty creepy.
