Umm... it's Marley's "I shot the Sheriff", in French. Not exactly hardcore gangsta rap, is it... {#Eek}

With that said - it's turgid, soulless, recycled, translated, pap. Instant PSD for me. {#Wall}

Alpha Blondy churns through everything I've heard so far way too hurriedly. Like he has no time to emote a feeling or an atmosphere...just get through it and wink. Good production, but too polished and sterile for my tastes. I'm so incredibly bored by 'reggae' as it is...and when you strip the life out of a song...you're left with a carcass.

Not a huge fan of the song, so this is tempered a bit by that. Infinitely better than the Pink Floyd cover he does, tho.
 
This is almost too fast. Feels like a ska song; nothing wrong with that but I'd rather have it slowed down a bit.
