I just looked at their website, to be informed that they have disbanded. Tour cancelled. And I was trying to learn about this group. They have a really interesting sound that works within the bluegrass and country tradition, as I hear it, and now it evaporates...

Saw Stray Birds this weekend at a local venue on a whim. Didn't think we knew them, and so we were shocked when they played this song and we realized we had heard them on RP! Great concert, great band, great song.

This trio from Pennsylvannia is amazing!   Saw them in So. Illinois and Memphis in coffeeshop and they are getting such a following.  NPR folk album of the year .....love this song!
