I got a song inside my head
I got a demon in my bed
They're both keeping me awake
I'm gonna sing so you can hear
I'm gonna sing away your fear
I'm gonna rock you to sleep
A sound of trumpets
Oh please answer to my call
to arms
my arms
tonight
Everything will be all right
come here
my dear
I'm gonna call when you're alone
I'll be your angel on the phone
I'm gonna save you tonight
The way you fear of getting on
All you gotta do is listen to my song
And the world is gonna smile
A sound of trumpets
Oh please answer to my call
to arms
my arms
tonight
Everything will be all right
come here
my dear

Oh please answer to my call
to arms
my arms
tonight
Everything will be all right
come here
my dear

OK baby I sign your band but we'll get you a guitarist for the solos.
Perfect for these sad moments
actually thought it was Brett Dennon for a minute
This girl sings like a waitress you feel like having dinner with because she's not a model but you feel good in her presence.

In my humble opinion most music writing falls into the "sounds like" category. I agree it can get boring.  Others write about what it "feels like" and still others write about the political/utilitarian/cultural aspects (that is my schtick). That about covers all music writing.  Oh yeah, have to mention the "this sucks" variety.
Love the chords changing minor in the chorus. Very nice. Like the tune.
More cowbell!

Sorry, but someone had to say it.

Not bad. a 7 for now.

I was thinking Regina Spektor but I don't keep up with new(ish) singers these days. Like this and Regina's stuff, though.
Another Swede. Ah, RP, you are spoiling us with all these great Vikings :) {#War}
