I had a dream that all of time was running dry
And life was like a comet falling from the sky
I woke so frightened in the dawning, oh, so clear
How precious is the time we have here

Are we not wise enough to give all we are
Surely we're bright enough to outshine the stars
But human kind gets so lost in finding its way
But we have a chance to make a difference til our dying day

And you might pray to God or say it's destiny
But I think we're just hiding all that we can be

Are we not wise enough to give all we are
Surely we're bright enough to outshine the stars
But human kind gets so lost in finding its way
We have a chance to make a difference til our dying day

All I'm really asking is, what are we doing here
Are we just killing time just living year to year
In this big world, no one else can play our part
Ain't it time to just wake up and give it all

Are we not wise enough to give all we are
Surely we're bright enough to outshine the stars
But human kind gets so lost in finding its way
We have a chance to make a difference til our dying day

We have a chance to make a difference till our dying day
We have a chance to make a difference till our dying day

probably gonna get hate for it, but thought it was a Lana Del Rey b-side I never heard when I first tuned in.

Same. For me that's a good thing and I'm digging the heck out of this.

Stop praying. Get to work!

I could never mistake someone else's voice for Lana's because I listen to her a ridiculous amount of times a day, but I do see where you're coming from, there's similarities in the cadence for sure.

Anyone else think Billie Eilish and co. may have found some inspiration here?

Brilliant lyric!
Great Lyrics!
What a cool lil keyboard solo!!!
Wow, just wow!! Track and profoundness of the lyrics just blew my mind considering the ongoing global seismic events of past year! A lot of soul-searching going on, me included!
"But human kind gets so lost in finding its way..."
Long live RP and for popping these gems!
They should do a collaboration with Lou Barlow.
On first hearing, I clicked an instant seven, but then Lou Rhodes's voice pulled me in.
I love you Radio Paradise!!!
I loved hearing this song towards at the end of Sense8. I loved Lamb anyway but didn't know this song by them. Thanks so much for playing it! {#Cool}
Well... How appropriate for these days.

Amazing how tastes vary.  I've never heard of this band, but on first hearing I love it and will need to check them out.  I've also given the Godlike Miles a 1...
Vocal is outstanding, production is stellar, what a mood!

Lamb - one of my fave bands. Absolutely stunning live. Not the strongest track off this album but a fair representation of their work. If you like this I'd certainly recommend buying it. . . along with a small jar of mint sauce.

O little lamb,
How fond of thee I am,
With a hint of mint.

Parallel thoughts: circa 1940's

How time flies. . . Four years on, I now eat a plant based diet. The idea of slaughtering a baby for my taste buds is now abhorrent.
Now we're talking - how about a lot more of Lamb!  Angel Gabriel for starters...

Maybe just "too far".

"..Yea, cool."

It doesn't seem that very much effort goes into most album covers anymore.  At least the composition is good on that one.

. . . what are we doing here..? that's a fair question. probably rates a little higher on the scale than why don't we do it in the road? "A" for effort

Agreed. An entire set of "that girl" singing "that song" is too much.

Ye're a wicked man, right ye are. Maybe you need to watch the excellent film Black Sheep to correct your view of our woolly friends. To be enjoyed with a pint or four of Black Sheep bitter, of course {#Cheers}
psd - Oh Coooollll!!!  Icehouse - Hey Little Girl, a REAL song!  "who can you run tooo?"    so much better than this poop
"And you might pray to God or say it's destiny But I think we're just hiding all that we can be."

Stop praying. Get to work!
Not as compelling as Gorecki, but nice that they're back.

Nice use of synthesizer.
Awful, awful vocalist.

The lyrics and the cover photo fit well IMO.

Compelling.

And it seems that the cover is prompting me to rate this a 5.  I shall comply.
she's a little like Marianne Faithful in the vocals.

I want to like it, I really do, I could see it being really compelling in the right situation, but it's not quite falling together for me.

That one stopped me in my tracks to just listen.
....like this song....
Haunting, in a good way.
