Every dollar counts and every morning hurts
We mostly work to live until we live to work
She said, "You know, there's nowhere else to go"
But changing roles, it struck me that the two of us could run

Worlds away from cars and all the stars and bars
Where a little bit of competition means so much and a little bit of change is all your little fingers touch
I said, "You know, there's nowhere else to go"
But changing roles, it struck me that the two of us could run

'Cause only with you, it's the only honest way to go
And I could take two but I really couldn't ever know
Honey with you and a little battin radio
We could try

So lead my feet away, 'cause all they do is stay
And I don't think your eyes have ever looked surprised
She said, "You know, there's nowhere else to go"
But with her fund, it struck me that the two of us could run

'Cause only with you, it's the only honest way to go
And I could take two if I really couldn't ever know
Honey with you and a little powered radio
We could try

Fantastic work by Rostam on this song.  The band were at their best with him there imo.

His new album is great....

Infrequent rotation on this one.  Doesn't do a great deal for me but I do like seeing the cover art.  They got sued for it which is hardly surprising when you read the details.
I do not get the appeal of this band at all. Total artifice!
works well as a break from the music I cant turn off.
No plays in 2+ years?  Huh.

A little 80's synth-poppy, but still a good groove.
Me likey! {#Sunny}
Wow, is it 1987 again already?
Lots of VW haters, really enjoy this album and the Broken Bells album, both brilliant, and this took since the album came out to get thru the LRC! {#Mrgreen}
