Put your dreams away for now
I won't see you for some time
I am lost in my mind
I get lost in my mind

Momma once told me
You're already home where you feel love
I am lost in my mind
I get lost in my mind

Oh my brother
Your wisdom is all that I need
Oh my brother
Don't you worry 'bout me
Don't you worry
Don't you worry
Don't worry about me

How's that bricklayin' coming
How's your engine running
Is that bridge getting built
Are your hands getting filled

Won't you tell me my brother
Cause there are stars up above
We can start moving forward

How's that bricklayin' coming
How's your engine running
Is that bridge getting built
Are your hands getting filled

Won't you tell me my brother
Cause there are stars up above
We can start moving forward

Lost in my mind
Lost in my mind
Oh I get Lost in my mind
Lost, I get lost, I get lost in my mind
Lost in my mind
Yes I get lost in my mind
Lost, I get lost, I get lost
Oh I get lost
Oh I get

Cause they're all too young to remember.  But I remember, and I think that post is hilarious.  Because it's so accurate.

Was lucky enough to receive tickets to see this band earlier this year in CT.  They put on quite the show.   Really enjoyed them.  Another band on the ticket was Illiterate Light - also a gem of a performance.

Joe Lamb and the CBGBs?  Toxic Meat Sings along with Georgy Girl.
Such a nebulous, fatuous design would make me suspect of any tunes in the package.

Maybe, just maybe; you're getting lost in your mind.

No. Pretty sure it's ewe.

Think about it: rock/pop album covers have very rarely "connoted or defined" the material within, and with the exception of Led Zeppelin's first album, almost never had anything to do with the band name.  Why is this album's cover design more nebulous or fatuous than those of "Revolver", "Exile On Main St", or "Wish You Were Here"?  Maybe it is, but there are certainly worse or lazier covers, especially in recent times.  Anyhow, the cover art is much more interesting than this tune is to me.
Still a solid ten,...and maybe an eleven.  Besides that, I'm lost in my mind, too.

I really love this song and this band.  Very fun to see live.  Uplifting, joyful, music.  To each his own!

Consider me jealous.  Mostly of seeing Neko Case but this is also sure good enough that it would get me to the gig plenty early.

Saw them in Amsterdam (Paradiso) supporting My Morning Jacket.  Great show ...and I knew their songs thanks to RP!

For a new song this is quite well crafted. It's the kind of song that will likely still sound good in a decade. Nice.

Because your not special.   This band is so good live.  Happy, fun and uplifting music.  Such unimportant things are certainly not for everyone.
I'd give it a 7 or even 8 but the local college alternative radio station has played this song to death for the past year, so got to drop it down to a 6. Sorry guys. Blame WXPN.

Why country music works: An opportunity presented by the beautiful premise of this song and it's excellent musical hooks would be turned into a canvas for storytelling. A celebration of the most ancient of communication arts manifested as a small opera.

Not that the minimal, interpretation-generous structure of this song is anything less than pleasant and interesting. Just that it could be epic.

Identifying even more with the lyrics-lost in my mind.  A 10 it is.
It's Not the End of the World! (10)
Bumped it from an 8 to a solid 9!
oh this gets stuck in my head, it gets stuck in my head, it gets stuuuuuuck in my head.

I'm liking this song alot. Very Nice sound.
I'm delighted to report that this song sometimes get lost in my mind, that is, stuck in my head.  There could be much, much, much worse songs to get stuck.  I'm liking it a lot.

Heh, our local college station played this the other night. I immediately Googled lyrics, added it to my amazon wishlist, and texted my BF how much I liked the song. Kinda Mumford-y. Now my fav eRadio station is playing it...I love technology {#Whistle}

Isn't that Cartoon Head from Ideal?

WUSC and WRAS have this band in regular rotation; good stuff!{#Music}
I have this on my MP3 player, but I don't know how it got there!  It's a good song, though, so I'm glad. {#Sunny}
Get lost already!
First heard this band when they opened for Dave Matthews Band in Vegas in December. We instantly fell in love with them and are going to see them in Seattle at the end of the month. Great live show. The rest of the album is just as good as this song. Their music makes me so happy. And I'm happy to see them here on RP - a perfect fit.
It's quite an enjoyable song, really, and the cover art is quite nice as well.

I don't know when RP started playing this, but I suspect I've only heard it once before, and I love it.  I hope their album is this good.  Those harmonies kill.
This sounds like 70s Music! Very nice tune!

Poi doggish. Repetitive.
This is too cool.
