Afro-Cubism is perfect description. Before I got to the web, I was thinking cubano, but also with the sounds of a kora. If you like this, you should check out Toumani Diabaté, kora player from Mali. I saw him and Bela Fleck in an amazing concert in Tucson a decade ago.

This reminds me a bit of the Baja Marimba Band - in a good way. Smooth and very danceable. And the xylophone just adds a touch of calypso that makes me smile. I like this song.
