Heyah listen to the rumbling sound of a brain moving in reverse
A belly fat with emptiness that cannot ever seem to get enough
I wandered into the temple hall sat with the pretty pigeons all in a row
We've come to hear the oil slick salesman crow go
"Heyah everything's cool my friends why don't you carry on like nothing is happening? Why don't you heyah carry on sleepwalking now now now? Heyah carry on on sleeptalking..."
Happy is a yellowbrite smile
But nobody's home
I can't get it off of my face
And it's starting to ache
Starting to ache
And I'm never alone
So I Climbed to the top of the tall tall tower
To see a man about a shadow seed
He said he'd make me king of everything
As we watched ten thousand flashing screens
And then the poet turned in to advertise him
Under the sweet little Georgia jones
I knocked three times on the side of the glass
And they go: "Heyah everything's cool my friends why don't you carry on like nothing is happening? Why don't you heyah carry on sleepwalking now now now? Heyah carry on on sleeptalking..."
Happy is a yellowbrite smile
But nobody's home
I can't get it off of my face
And it's starting to ache
Starting to ache
And I'm never alone
Happy is a yellowbrite smile
But nobody's home
I can't get it off of my face
And it's starting to ache
Starting to ache
And I'm never alone
Perfect 'n round
Can't get it off of my face
Never alone
Can't get it off of my face
Perfect 'n round
Can't get it off of my face
Never alone
Happy is a yellowbrite smile
But nobody's home
I can't get it off of my face
And it's starting to ache
Starting to ache
And I'm never alone
Never alone
Happy is a yellowbrite smile
But nobody's home
I can't get it off of my face
And it's starting to ache
Starting to ache
And I'm never alone
Never alone
Never alone
Never alone
Never alone

i feel sure that i know this guy. possibly he is the grown child of my childhood enemy who occasionally follows me home now and wonders what might happen if i suddenly turned around. possibly he is an impoverished but confident theater major whose secondhand designer underwear is cutting into his gut. possibly he is the secret offspring of leonard cohen and lyle lovett.  possibly he has been kicked by a cow once too often.  the song itself is not bad.

I love that Bill quoted this, in it's entirety, on air... well done sir, well done.

Edit to add: I checked out your comment history Mr. aVeryBadCat, and I must say that I very much enjoyed the off the wall insight on the songs and listeners this radio station attracts.

Nah! I'm going with Bob Dylan and the horse.
cool stuff. catchy with just a bit of a dark edge, one of my favorite mixes.
Reminds me of the cover of Eraserhead.

Really wish I hadn't seen the pictures a little too much information.

I just had this song in my head the other day!  Thanks for playing it.  {#Clap}

First time I think I've heard this song. I like it, and was scrolling the comments to see if anyone had anything to say about the cover image, as I thought "That greasy/curly tortured artist look."

I'm sorry, but this just cracked me right the hell up. Brilliant.

Bill, next time you should play this back to back with Donovan's Sunshine Superman or Mellow Yellow.

I saw him open for Tori Amos a few years back. He would play a quick progression on his guitar and record it, then play it back in a loop so he could accompany himself. Pretty impressive

As does K. T. Tunstall.  Bumping this from 9 to 10 - it's on my list of favorites now.  Thanks, RP! {#Dancingbanana_2}

A new one for me and I'm liking it.
Nice Relayer, always satisfying to get an upload in the rotation. Long live RadioParadise.
Thanks for this, Relayer - I really like this!  "Happy is a yellowbrite smile..." I think it might have "10" potential.... {#Dancingbanana_2}
My upload! Heard this album through a friend and was pretty impressed, especially with this track.

Cool — glad he's still making music.  I really miss hearing Club Thing!  This song is not bad — I'll give it a 7
