I was having a good sleep
In my car
In the, parking lot of the
Showboat Casino hotel

I say, "I remember you
You drive like a PTA mother"
You brought me draft beer
In a plastic cup

I'm feeling thankful
For the small things today
I'm feeling thankful
For the small things today

Happy, Happy Birthday to me
Happy Birthday to me
And to you

Happy, Happy Birthday to me
Happy Birthday to me
And to you

I'm feeling thankful
For the small things today
I'm feeling thankful
For the small things today

I remember you
I crashed your wedding
With some orange crepe paper
And some Halloween candy

Sometimes I wish I were Catholic
I don't know why
I guess I'm happy to see your face
At a time like this

Happy, Happy Birthday to me
Happy Birthday to me
And to you

Happy, Happy Birthday to me
Happy Birthday to me
And to you

Happy Birthday baby, to me
Happy Birthday, to me
Happy Birthday, to me
Happy Birthday, to me

I do remember hearing this song on alternative radio back in the mid 1990s, maybe 5 or 6 times then it was gone.

Same guys...mostly

cracker were at the same time innovative, as in every song sounds like someone different, and constant - CONSTANTLY CRAP.

Enough cracker for the decade, please? {#Taped-shut}
Wow, they spent a lot of time on these lyrics I'm sure.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't Catholic, as I'm sure all those times I've missed mass on Sunday the last 35 years or so haven't done me any favors
in the afterlife!

Holy crap. It just turned into my birthday here after midnight, and as I slave away working here on the East coast on a commercial that's due in the morning, this comes on.

Can't beat this on an all-nighter.

You've always been there for me, Bill. Thanks!

It's not funny and it's not clever
SPLENDID
so close...Mr. Lowery's birthday was yesterday!  happy new year cracker van beethoven man!
Another band in the "Last Summer on Earth" concert on AXS tv.  I think it's on all month at different times if you're a Cracker fan.  Also Bare Naked Ladies, Blues Traveler, Big Head Todd and the Monsters.  This tour's coming to a town near me but watching it in HD on a 60" TV might end up saving me some $$$$.  Guess I'm getting old!
Love It!
Happy Birthday to me indeed! Thanks for thinking of me today RP!!!
FUN! A wry but upbeat sense of humor.
I hear Recovery in this song... Thanks, boys.
How come so many people disparage Cracker?  They write fun songs and have a great lead guitarist.  Are all "audiophiles" grumpy or what?   Just askin'...

FANTASTIC SONG FROM A GREAT-GREAT ALBUM!
"Sometimes I wish I was Catholic, I don't know why?"

Love it. What a great band and album. One of the most underrated bands around.

Love them, Copenhagen some years ago, great gig.
I am looking forward to seeing them later today for our weekely free Music In The Park concert in San Jose, CA

more Cracker!
I particularly love this album(along with any and everything CVB,Cracker and all the other off-shoots they have, have ever done). For me the two best songs on this album are 'Mr. Wrong'(my ex likes that one) and 'Dr. Bernice'(quite wonderfully twisted).  Love artists with a humourously demented mindset.

Mine too, at least on this particular day.

Yes, love it.10, no doubt about it.
Cracker YES!

{#Clap}
Z cranks this one loud every Nov 12. He even sings along, and he never sings.
First time hearing this.  Yep, it's lame. But the FUN far outweighs the lame. I like it so much, I'm sitting here tapping my feet and grinning. Got the house all to myself - heck, I might even dance! {#Dancingbanana}{#Bananasplit}{#Nyah}
What a lame song... {#Puke}
Don't care what any of you naysayers are posting...this song is FUN!!! And great live.
A most wonderful birthday to all whose birthday is today. {#Jump} Your fellow celebrants are here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_8

Lizards rule.

My big 4-0 today....thanks Bill!
just awful    cheeseburger in paradise?  two songs and two artists I never need to hear again
Happy Birthday to me.
Cracker produce some, well, crackers, such as Sidi Ifni, but this is a real stale turkey, a honker. They sound like a pub band, and not a very good one at that, but I know they can do better.
giddy-up!

Remind me of Camper Van Beethoven, just a bit dirtier (the way I like it :)
