Yesterday, when you were young,
Everything you needed done was done for you.
Now you do it on your own
But you find you're all alone,
What can you do?

You and me walk on, walk on, walk on,
Cause you can't go back now.

You know there will be days when you're so tired that you can't take another step,
The night will have no stars and you'll think you've gone as far as you will ever get

But you and me walk on, walk on, walk on
Cause you can't go back now

And yeah, yeah, go where you want to go. yeah, yeah, be what you want to be,
If you ever turn around, you'll see me.

I can't really say why everybody wishes they were somewhere else
But in the end, the only steps that matter are the ones you take all by yourself

And you and me walk on, walk on, walk on
Yeah you and me walk on, walk on, walk on
Cause you can't go back now
Walk on, walk on, walk on
You can't go back now

A nice happy album cover, I just love that ridiculous smile on that whale. 1 = 8
This is very pretty.

Hey, I resemble that remark, and I kinda like the Weepies.
This song is bad in any era.

            I guess more people than you'd think, like the 'Weepies'.

Most lovely - very sweet harmony.

Means well, but kind of trite.

The harmonies remind me of The Roches.

Agreed..

This tune and band have the potential of becoming something I become rather sick of quickly, mainly because I like it so much upon first listen.
Ear candy of the finest order. So many wonderful melodies it's hard to catch and savour them all in one sitting.
This song seems less "weepy" than some others from this duo. I'm a fan of The Weepies, but this song stands out for me. Nice one!

Have been inclined to add "The Weepies" radio to my Pandora stations and have heard a LOT of great songs.

Definitely recommend.

Yep, Paul Simon's brother -in-law. Sorry Cynaera, hoping times are better now.

Kinda lame.
Bumping this from 8 to 9. Something about The Weepies just sneaks into my heart and emotions and gives me feelings. I want lots of feelings lately.
This is very nice.  You gotta be pretty confident to give yourself such a bad name.
Ok, the cycle is complete, they have won me over!{#Meditate}
Wow, I like them more when he sings!

the weepies feel so content... love them {#Hearteyes}

like everyone said ~ starting to like it ~ hard to do with a name like that ~ let us start a petition to change their name LOL

I'm slowly catching on, they are working on me, almost there..........

REALLY growing on me, this band.
Sort of Jackson Browne meets Simon and Garfunkel.  I really like this band. {#Bounce}

Ok... I was wrong... this is worthy of adding to the collection.  I didn't want to like them 'cause of their name but I gotta say I really like their songs and harmonies.  Damn... I've become too close-minded these days.  Forgive me please.

You are forgiven   {#Yes}

Don't know what happened to the show, and I'm wonderin', too.  Probably went to the cemetery of good network TV, along with Arrested Development.

This is a lovely CD.

That's the beauty of it...you don't have to take the band seriously.  Just enjoy the music...

This song is awesome and the band truly amazing! I listen to their albums straight through and often on repeat, great to hear it on RP!

Maybe the fact that they played this music on the show is what happened to it?{#Tongue-out}
