Pretty good, keep going.
Never heard this artist before but cool tune.
Hey Suzen - Never mind the nattering nabobs of negativism (strangely abundant on RP !?!)  Who knows what compels a person to announce to the world that they don't like something.
{#Iamwithstupid}
The only ones that matter are the comments that are funny or positive.

Anyway - This is a great tune!  I went to look for it on download on your website - but it linked me to ITunes. Would rather buy directly from you so you get the whole dollar and not just the few cents. I'll check back another time...  Thanks!
Suzen, next time remember to tune your guitar before recording. Thanks.
At first I thought this might grow on me.

Then I became afraid that it would.

It reached unbearable before it ended.... I switched my player to NPR for the duration.

Never again would be soon enough for me.
Suzzzee!  Love this song.  Love YOU {#Daisy}
Such an earthy, pure quality to her voice.  Melody is sweet!
Niiice!  In a laid back kinda way.

beautiful Suzen!    {#Notworthy}

Very different.  I like it.
scuz me while I slur my way thru this song...
I can only hope Song to the Siren is next........ SO much better than this.

Christ almighty! What time is it is California? 3.30 a.m.?  (Note to self, having seen the time stamp appear: yes: exactly that!!)
This is one of the worst sequences of miserable, droning songs I've ever heard. I wonder why musicians make the effort,and use their talents, to record dross like this. ecch!

Bloody hell — here's another one comin' round: "Song to the Siren" from Mortal Coil. A perfect segue to this song ... which is not a compliment.

Very nice.  I did think of Mazzy Star initially, with a touch of Kristin Hersh & Lucinda Williams.  Just went and downloaded this from iTunes.
is this really from 1964?

sounds like Hope Sandoval's twin sister
Despair

OK, kidding about that... this is fabulous

Jup, sounds like Hope Sandoval has been hitting the Four Roses and passed out in a Kentucky truckstop.
3 non blondes?
I do like her voice as well and the guitar sound is very clear and deep.  It seems like a lot of producers can get complacent with sound production for acoustic guitars; that doesn't sound to be the case here.  What the hell do I know?  Anyhow, nice song.
Stylishly out of tune. Yay!

This is the first time I've stopped to listen to this song. This is great stuff.

Reminds me a of the singer from Lone Justice.  Nice.
Far better than 90% of the female solo artists out there.
I really like this, very soulful somewhat reminds me of Bonny Rait in the vocals.
Love the little rrrrraunchy tone that drips into the vocals every now & then - roughens it and gives a nice counterpoint to the guitar.

And yeah, I can get the Mazzy Star reference.

 and ... what a great segue into This Mortal Coil.  Bliss.
I love this song and it was a great treat to hear Suzen outside of SecondLife where I first became familiar with her music.  I hope that happens more often!
This sounds better and better the more I hear it. What he said {#Arrowd}
Sultry, haunting, dreamy... I'm hearing a stripped down Hope Sandoval/Mazzy Star... and that's not a bad thing. Very, very nice.{#Clap}
Please come to Seattle!
Coucou Suzen,

I heard your music and love it too much.
I fall in love with "Scrath".
You have a marvellous voice timbre and the guitar's comping is very soft !!
We can easily imagine brush drums and double bass behind.

Marvellous Work !!

Excuse my poor English I currently speak French.

Nalo Soul.

Reminiscent of Mazzy Star.
Second time I heard this and since I liked it it got a likeable but think it might get moved up next time Keep it up Suzen !!!

Ditto

It's great fun to have the artist herself on the song comment page! I'm enjoying your music, Suzen!
Very nice. I really like this. I will have to look into more stuff from this artist. Another jem I never would have heard, if not for RP. {#Biggrin}

Hearing a fellow Minnesotan brings a little warmth to a -24 degree day!

...nice to hear juel on radio paradise...

The most flattering thing is, when others want to cover one of my songs. So far I have been approached by 4 musicians that want to cover it, and the last friend that asked, sent me a link to my YouTube Video of it, which I had forgotten about.
This is the Early version of it, back when I wrote it in 2007.
Thanks again for the feedback :)

GREAT VOICE I JUST LOVE THE PASSION SUZEN'S VOICE HAVE. I JUST LOVE THIS SONG!

I thought it was Hope Sandoval, at first.
