Well this is the first Ho-Hum rating I've given... that's because it IS Ho-Hum. Blah.
This isn't doing much for me. Maybe it's just this song. The artist is on a small label out of Portland Oregon and there is a band from Portland Oregon called Charmparticles that I like quite a bit. Bill, you should check them out.

Laura Gibson was the exceptional opening act at a show I attended; she entranced the crowd (myself included), just singing and playing her guitar. I bought her album afterward and have been pleased with the decision. Thanks, Bill!
The same exact thing happened when I saw her open for Colin Melloy last April! She had the crowd in a frozen silence of goodness... very cool.

Lovely, but not terribly interesting. I think this sort of song has been done enough already. There are scads of other softly lilting female vocalists.

a thing that enhances is simplicity, and this is good, later the way to touch the guitar, and this is good, the register of the voice, well is here that some questions are arisen; in a word it "promises"; but necessary to hear its work more than, to define an correct appreciation.
