takes me back! love it.

conjures john hughes movies.
Yep, loving this one!
Repetitive and annoying vocals. Back to the 80's with ya! {#Snooty}
Can't say I remember this tune. Sounds almost like contempo country-punk. Nice.
Totally wrong font for the album cover - even for 1985.       fun song though. . . .
How funny! I'm watching Pretty in Pink right now!
I saw part of Pretty In Pink just last night! It kind of made me feel old, remembering how much I loved Andi. This song, however, doesn't make me feel old at all. Yay!
Yay! Woo! LOVE!

Yuppers.  They were the house band at the bar Molly Ringwald frequented with her other "alternative" buddies—Andrew Dice Clay was the doorman and Dweezil Zappa was her friend's date.

She also has the name of this band written on her notebook in the movie "Sixteen Candles"...

Yeah, they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go.
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.**

Battle of N.O. Loud and clear.
What a darn fine little number!
bought it on the bulky disk, heard it on the old WHFS in balt/dc area.   was a had to have.

Well I went over to wikipedia to try to find the cover art but found this trivia instead: Jimmer Podrasky is a first cousin of the Chief Justice of the United States, John Roberts.

PRETTY IN PINK!!!
Love, love, love this song!
Sing that note!

I can still see Dweezil nodding his head to this one.

i loved this back in the day...it seemed different from what was being played on corporate radio at the time, too. not sure if i still like it as much, but it does take me back.

Wow, it's nice to hear this again - I haven't heard this since I had a working cassette player....
I actually own this album!  I bought it during a time when I was collecting all the songs from "Pretty in Pink" that weren't on the soundtrack, lol...
Awesome, flashbacks to my Chicago days!

Holy hell, I don't think this has EVER happened in all my years here at RP... I uploaded this song about 4 days ago (if that) and it was "added" without even going through the LRC. Can't wait until it gets played for the first time!
It was half over before I realized this was RP and not my iTunes. Good job, my friend!
Having quite a flashback here!
