It's hard to say
you love some one
its hard to say you dont
its hard to learn
to trust someone
but its hard to be without.

So if u think u love some one
try, try, try
because
that one maybe your *only* one

So if you love her
think only of her
take the time tell her today

And when Without her
everything is harder
take the time
drop everything
go tell her today

For every King
you'll find a queen
that keeps his kingdom strong

oh if love is the food that feeds my heart
then baby
sweet baby
I'm hungry now

oh
So if you think you love some one
try, try, try
because that one may be your one.
So if you love her,
think only of her,
take the time tell her today.

And when with out her,
everythings harder
take the time
drop everything
tell her today

Aaaaah ! I posted this comment with a very very crappy connection, the VPN kept dropping all the time and the comment seemed to be erased. Now, one year or so after, I have a better computer, connection and VPN, hope I won't have to repeat this one {#Cheesygrin}{#Bounce}
I had this at a 5 for most of a decade but finally had to give it a 2. Goes from bland/boring to the worst caterwauling since Buckley. We really really did not need another one of those.
4. Shave 2 minutes off this song and it's a 7.
Tell her...tell her...tell her...tell her...tell her...

...to hit the PSD button!
I was originally appreciating the lyrics, but oh no, not very redeeming after that.  Very rarely say awful, but....awful it is

Not bad. Borrowed the first couple of lines from Del Amitri.

I caught that lyric sampling as well.  Not sure yet about the tune.

This is really horrible. PSD!

I agree.  Execution would certainly put us out of the misery of listening to this song.

Wow, first time in along time I have seen Mr Excess' commentary...........must be a while since this was last played.
Getting a bit of Bowie from Station to Station.  He needs shooting at the end bit, though.

Exactly.

This guy's melodies are uniformly great but he gets so frickin overwrought ...

So...you do realize you're making a big deal out of nothing here, right?
your particular style and talent makes all difference -   8.

Woah! That was, different...
I had this song at a 2 until it was over. Then I was so happy I rated it a 10.

Just kidding. It's still a 2.

Ow, my poor, bleeding ears...

Please take your meds.

We are more than free to share our opinion that this song is a total piece of crap.

am I the only one who hears the ubiquitous Sex & the City interlude underneath the caterwauling?

Why's it always gotta be cats? Can't they learn to torture something silent? Torture worms next time, Tom. I happen to like cats.

This was a 7 until I realized he does almost an identical, abrasive, wild-holler-thing as in "Icarus Wings"..

Me, too; plus it's a good message!
Hmmm...I just can't seem to find a handle on this one. A 5 for now.
doo doo happens
Good music to be executed to. Standing against a wall, waiting for the gunfire. Seeing your new found lover crying in the distance. Weep no more.
Weird fantasy - I thought, at first. But after a while I thought you got it quite right. Wouldn't want to get executed though. Not to this song or any other. I'll give it a 7. No, a 6.

Didn't like the other song either. Yuck!
god awful....simple as that
yucky ending, methinks.
Jeff Buckley, meet Nina Simone.

Sounds like Nina Simone got into the tequila...

Got pretty yicky there at the end.
I wrote that before the end of the song. You're right, Scott. Made me cringe a little
yeah, i don't sense any of the subtlety or vocal softness in this tune that i get from nearly all of jeff buckley's. agree about the ick at the end.
lyrics seem a bit cheesy, but i like the sound.
Don't like his voice.

Well, maybe he sounds a TEENSY bit like Jeff Buckley, but he's not doing all the awful vocal calisthenics that Buckley was so fond of. I don't care for Buckley in the least. I like this guy. Plus his song arrangements are really nice too.

Jeff Buckley much? *edit--oops, already noted by someone else.
People are constantly bashed here for saying "sounds like him, her, them" Truth is that just about everyhing under the sun has been done. this song sounds like something that I have heard before- I do like it alot but I wouldn't say that it's the most exiting new artist of 2008. Which might leave a lingering question "well, who is?" I don't know- the year is only half over and Bill has some more tracks to spin. ...um, if I can find my walley, I'll get out the credit card and send that support that I've been meaning to;)
Hmm. This is a tough one. On first listen, it sounds too meandering and too unfocused.
It would be OK if he chose to keep quiet
Thom Baxter
Musically it's fine, but when he really started wailing for a second, I briefly hit mute. Eesh.
I'm really liking and enjoying it!
"Quick K9..into the Tardis"....
Ooo I love being first! He reminds me a bit of Jeff Buckley. Very nice.
