Interesting and perhaps telling set for the night the Democratic convention opens—tho' perhaps more appropriate for the Republican convention. Then again, if you have an equal distaste for all politicians, who cares?

Huh.  I'm a bit surprised how low the rating is and how negative the comments are.  It's a pretty decent, if understated, song.  The album itself is mighty fine, as a whole - very mellow and pleasant.
I think his voice is delicious... but the creativity is just not there ....he could be magic with some added elements.....
This song totally sucks. Except maybe the guitar. The guitar is good. I don't even mind the other elements. His voice for example is fine. I think mainly it's the lyrics that totally suck. Note to Bill: Please remove from rotation.
Hard to believe his father didn't destroy the master.
Brings to mind Woody Allen's line about California...something like "When I get mellow I just over-ripen and rot..."
OK, glad I'm not the only one who felt compelled to vocalize how dumb that song was.
Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust a bit repetitious.
What is evil again? I didn't quite catch that...
Meh. Not a very good song with theme and variations on "alive and well". I know he can do better. (I just heard it on KPIG, not here.)
Anyone else think his vibrato sounds forced? My mind kept drifting to him on a washing machine.
Points for the low-key jive. I'll never be able to listen to him and not think of Wallflowers, though. Not such a bad thing, just spare me from the tunes of his old man.
Totally killed the wave that was building with Rilo Kiley, Sugarcubes, and Neko Case.

Here's a hint- if you like it or don't like it, and why, is relevent here. Personally, I like it. Keep it in whatever rotation you've got, Bill. Gotta go- here's his dad wanting coffee...
