there is potential with he voice, but this is really lacking, there is no "desire" that Bruce captures so well. there is no longing and the attempts at times seems weak and apathetic.

I agree.  She doesn't sound very concerned about being on fire.  I'm going with 3, just because it's my favorite Boss song, so I obviously like the song itself.  I think it'd still be a 3 if I sang it, too.

I'm usually more sympathetic to covers than most on RP seem to be, but I'd say this is a "not great" for me. Springsteen's version has a kinetic energy, a dirge-like movement to it, that's missing here. The angst is one of mental movement. When her version gets noisy it's more acceptable, but the quiet parts are too still.
