Where else in the world will you hear the Montana Mandolin Society, and know it follows so well from the Audreys "Oh Honey?"  Thank you RP (even if I never win the stuff).

Beautiful song. But they need to work on their ornithology. That is a japanese crane (l) and whooping crane (r) on the cover, not sandhills.

The band and the cover artist (Monte Dolack) do know this. It's mentioned in the liner notes.

According to the band's director shortly after writing the tune they played in Japan, where he saw an image of a Japanese crane (the national symbol of Japan, equivalent to the bald eagle in the US) on a bus. This symbolized (to him) the universality of what they were doing, hence the illustration.

There's a sandhill crane shrieking at my cats at this very moment (he is in absolutely no danger - my cats are petrified) I like them a little better when they're quiet and majestic, not shrieking and flapping!

For me, it's more like a jig.

Nice addition. It really sounds like Bonapart's Retreat, am i way off here?
