Cato, play with my head
I won't know the difference
If we're living in the novelist or statistician.

Cato, mess with my concepts, my inner vision
Like a strobing light, please confuse my every decision

I can't even pretend that you are my friend
What has happened to you and I?
And don't say that I have changed
'Cause man, of course I have

Are you far too depressed now even to answer the phone?
I guess you just want to
Shave your head, have a drink, and be left alone
Is that too much to ask?

One of the best live shows ever. It’s theater at its hilarious best. And the music is absolutely dance worthy
This is on my list of bands to venture to never have to hear ever, ever, ever again.

Yawn.  Wake me when it's over.

Horrible feedback/noise.  Thought it was my headphones....nope.  It's the 'music.'

Lame.

Same for me. And it probably wouldn't have bothered me so much if they had just used the song "as is," but the fact that they changed the lyrics...ew.
Okay, obviously not for everyone, but this is one of my favourite albums of 2007. It's a brilliant and quirky concept piece. Upon repeated listening it gets better and better.
7 -> 8 Going to the dentist has never been cooler!
My ears! My ears!!! Mark it 1, dude. Nasty stuff - I believe this is the first time I've had to mute RP.

exactly. what pathetic lyrics, or maybe its the way they are delivered.
Oh no no no no no it's like being at the dentist.

You know, I rather like this, but, after the whole Outback thing, I have a hard time not having negative thoughts about this band as a whole.
Ohhhh, I thought the voice was familiar. Ha! Meh, I don't hold that against 'em. It used to be doing commercials was selling out, now it's a way in. They're a cool band - good for them for getting some exposure, and financing to help fund their crazy music.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! This album is a trip!

Yeah. You might be right.

Gosh, Bill, haven't heard this in a long long time. This is a great album! Listened to it over and over when I first got it.

Like this song, that's not funny.
Ha ha ha. But it is peculiar.

MY NAME IS DOCTOR SBAITSO. I AM HERE TO HELP YOU.
Thanks, Bill, for playing my current faves. BTW, the album is a psychedelic delight!!!

Cato as a PUN... Interesting...he said Bruce-ly.
I like this band, but, God, that synth...
I just burned up a pick making insect noises on an acoustic.
What vapid drivel.

I was just thinking that! Gotta love old skool FM synth!
BRILLIANT
Ouch! Hey, most everyone I know has hovered near a alcohol-tattoo-head shave-road trip to Florida nght at least once in their lives. But the doll is funny. Poor Brister. sqqqrly wrote:
I don't mind this at all. first time hearing it. Kinda like it.
They've found some of the more irritating sounds that a synthesizer can make.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's heard this too much over the last week....
This song is retro done badly and with insipid lyrics. I rarely give out a 2, but this gets it for me.
I thought the intro with the loud insect buzzing was bad. Then the singing started. Weak.
Is there any amount of money I can pay to make sure I don't hear this song again? Name yer price, Bill. A minor but notable exception to the brilliance of RP's playlist...

I too, just now seriously, thought this was a new song about Britney.

I thought they were talking about Britney Spears
Part of the title reminds of the lyrics to Dinah-Moe-Hum by Frank Zappa when he sang, ''Do you want some more-a, right here on the floor-a (flora), And how about you, fauna, you wanna?''
Funny thing about Of Montreal is that they are not of Montréal.
This sounds great! Love the album cover artwork!
some songs make you race for the controls on your media player.
Bill, are you dedicating this to Britney? "I guess you just want to shave your head, have a drink and be left alone" Dang you Braindel, jumping in ahead of me.
The opening and the guitar to this song reminded me of Ratatat.

Haha, even Bill made fun of them for that.
This is a great album! Been in frequent rotation since I bought it. BTW, I have forgiven them for the Outback commerical.

Yeah, I just heard that commercial tonight -- did the band completely redo the song with Outback blasphemy littered among the lyrics?

Hey this really sucks. 2 down from a 5. They are being irritating on purpose I think. I'm not buying it.

Fucking Crackers Man!
Well, they weren't kidding about the hissing.
Maybe I'm biased, because I am "Of Montreal", but I like this a lot. Lush soundscape.

Great new grittier sound for Of Montreal. I'm always down for a little elephant 6!
WOW! What an awesome first impression. This is the second track of theirs I've heard here, and they're pretty rockin' so far.
Sounds too "noisy" for my liking.
This is pretty!
The buzzing stopped...er..uhh..started again. I had to turn down the volume. Maybe it'll grow on me.
sweet album title
