I moved out of Dayton in 1992. So I just missed Jayne Sachs and Guided By Voices. I have been to Canal Street Tavern before and it is a great place to see a show.

Yeah Dayton!  Grew up there a long time ago...
That song made me very uncomfortable.
With all the positive comments, I would expect the rating to be higher than 5.9.

I was thinking she sounds like Jenny Lewis from Rilo Kiley. I'd like to hear more from Jayne Sachs.

If you liked what you heard, you might consider making a request to the Radio Paradise folks for more.  There are 2 songs that are in their catalog that have NEVER been played.  What a shame - they are excellent as well.

Johny Sachs was my favorite character on the Sopranos.
What a VOICE! Sounds familiar... In any case, NICE!

Well of course we do! Good to know, too, cause I'm moving back!
Nothing like the slow pace of the midwest after living on the coast?

I've heard (even from a waitress who works there) that the owner is looking for a new venue for his shows. Part of the problem is the new minor league baseball park that opened right across the street (taking up all of the available parking spaces), and who knows what else. But it seems that it will be just a matter of time before The Canal Street Tavern will be no more. At least in this incarnation.
this song make me remember Under Pressure from QUEEN

Hey back! I still live in the Dayton area (Fairborn), and go to Canal Street regularly. Believe it or not, we still have a thriving music scene.

What could be make a better night of music than to see Jayne at the Canal Street Tavern? Anyone who comes to Dayton should make it a point to visit that venue. If you're lucky to be there on a night when Jayne is performing, all the more beautiful.

My god! It's almost the Corrs. This is awful to my ears :(
ok, I'll break up the love fest. or maybe I'd like it better if it didn't follow Patty. cuz it sounds contrived to me.

And Canal Street Tavern!!!! That place is awesome. A real "up close and personal" venue with lots of unique style. Soooo glad to see her on Rp at last!

One of the nice things about RP is new music I wouldn't likely hear on broadcast or satellite radio. This is pretty good.

I've gotten a few requests for more info about me and where my CDs can be purchased. You are directing people to Amazon.com which doesn't have my product. Not sure who sets up your artists' info pages, but I would like to have listeners directed to my website https://www.jaynesachs.com if possible...
The referral to Amazon is automatic. At some point I plan to make provisions for other purchase links, but I haven't gotten around to it.
