I'd guess it's Ulrich Schnauss, but I've discovered another great artist instead.
Great sounds to distract you from background noise!
loops crap
Oh yeh and there's Rammstein. More pyrotech than techno!
There's some new additions here that are very good, imo.

Fortunately not all German music is techno (Neither all techno seems to be German). There is some decent rock, punk, actually we have all kinds of music. It's not too popular outside Germany thou. Exceptions are "Autobahn" by Kraftwerk and "99 Lufballons" by Nena. And the Scorpions (many people don't know they are a German band. They are.). I can't remember any more at the moment....

As my brother-in-law used to say, the Scorpions are really good at whistling in German.
From DCfC "Lightness" to this . . . <chef's kiss>

Only partially German, but for the musical opposite of this, look up Heilung on that video channel...

Hihi, Bill just said "Volf-Shime".

I'm sure, Bill wouldn't pronounce it Wolf-Shome if there was a band named Wolf'sHome.

Or "Voolfs-heim"?

Vọlfs-hime. Home of the wolf. Heim is also the terminal syllable of many german townships.

Actually there is a small village called Wolfsheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, but the band was named after Meyer Wolfsheim, a fictional character from F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby.

I'd like to deny, but the accent reveals.
Goth Paradise
Instant like!
Annoying as hell....

I like this trance-y stuff occasionally. It works well as music to do yoga and stretching to. Or just space out to.

When I think of Germany...I think of the Black Forest...and BMW's are a guilty pleasure as well I guess!  ;)

Where have u been?  Lexvegas it says on your tag.  I couldn't have been far from you, though, because I've never heard it either, and I LOVE this trance stuff.  Better than Xanax by leaps and bounds ...

Ah, Einstürzende Neubauten - unforgettable, particularly to those venues that booked them and found their stages chopped and sawn to pieces by the 'instruments'. EN were part of what used to be called "industrial" music, using tools such as hammers and chainsaws in their music. The name, I believe, translates loosely as 'collapsing new buildings', but I'm ready to be corrected by a German native speaker.

I was always quite a fan of Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle (FSK) who used to get played a lot on the John Peel show back in the day...
And not to forget: Selig

This type of music seems to be in the rotation in my car these days. Completely soothing flow, let's me relax in our obnoxious traffic.
This makes me anxious and my head start to convulse rythmically to the right.

really, really enjoying it.
And don't forget The Beatsteaks (a great german Band from Berlin):

Agree completely. Brainwave music.

Not a fan.. as long as not too much of this plays I can deal with it for those of you who like this kind of techno "music"?  Ugh.
really glad I bought that subwoofer.
Cosmic.
Not bad for late night.

not great.

More Einstürzende Neubauten, less Wolfsheim, please.

Probably not.

Still, I give it a'a 8.

They're German, so, closest to the last one.  It's actually <ˈvɔlfshaɪm> in IPA.

I actually thought it was a track off of a Seal album when it first came on.

You sure this isn't Paul Oakenfold?
Cool tune for a Saturday night... (nice following transition to Beck Beautiful Way, too)
Rebecca and Bill, please listen to the real master: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Schulze... Then, you'll recognise the origin of this lukewarm tune...
