I suspect that there are serial downvoters - folks who maybe just don't like ANYTHING you (or I, or anyone) say.  Or maybe someone just needs to get laid.

Bill, I'm pleasantly surprised by your pronunciation of Quebec. I was raised in Illinois and learned it as "Kwe-bek" but up here it's "Ke-bek" as you said. Not used to that pronunciation from south of the border!
