Yep, it's weird how some songs kinda sound generic. I'm sure the band didn't expect it to sound that way but it kinda does.

I think that this album doesn't show the growth or potential that their earlier albums express. "In Your Gun" was probably their climax as far as musical genius, depth, and pure playing power. Its been a downward spiral from there (not a big spiral mind you) with this album and I see them making more money and increasing their fan base all of which is good.
But for me, myself, I think this album doesn't cut it.
You can think whatever the hell you want.
Remember, we come here to express our opinions and share common (or uncommon thoughts). Your point is well taken. I just don't care for your intepretation of my opinion.

As for this song... Not as good as some of the others being played off this album, but not bad.

Selling out is changing your style to appeal to more people to make more money. They might've just natrually gone in this direction, but the existance of somewhere near a million other bands doing this exact thing...

This isn't my favorite song on the album, but it's good to hear something different from the album being represented....I cannot get tired of these guys, though. Just too good.
I like this song because it is Gomez, but I can't shake the feeling this is what Coldplay would sound like after smoking a hookah. Good song, but nowhere near the heights of Bring it on.

I was hoping this was the foo fighters, I have not listened to Gomez much. I like it.

Sounds kind of like the lead singer from Live.
Otherwise, not particularly impressive.

Yeah, you'd think by the average rating, they'd realize everyone isn't sooooo impressed.
I agree with previous comments about the commercial sound to this.. that dropped it a little lower for me.

I'm a big fan of Gomez, but at first listen this doesn't do much for me. Sounds made for FM radio.
Don't really know what to think on this first audio of the new Gomez album. Anyone out there knows any more about it..?
