Instant "one" for the annoying cutesy affect.
instant 8
Like a laid-back, on-key, tremulous Liz, to my ear. Love it.
I love the timbre of this artist's voice.  Like crooning, but updated somewhat?

I thought so too.
I had the same desire to vomit and stick a fork in my eye
How fitting. =)

Here I am at work, looking out my window at the Fyris River in Uppsala.
The trees have started sprouting light green leaves and the sun is poking out after a damp couple of days.
I am seriously starting to like the raspy, I sound like I've been smoking for ten years, sound. Am I a bad person for this?? Maybe

My goodness, is this song still going on? zzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
Hah I was just reading an AP story about a guy who ran into a bear, a Bruin if you will, on his bicycle. I know, it's bad, but this song could use a little livening up.
oooh! I had ABSOLUTELY no clue that Ternheim and Brun are Scandinavian!
And Sigur Ros is an ice-bear, I guess!
...sleeping!!!

Well, I guess living in Norrland has influenced my definition of a river. UmeÀlven: Fyrisån:

Nope. Brun is Norwegian, Ternheim Swedish. People who like the one often like the other though..
Good point. I DO like them both. I don't think they sound even remotely similar, though.
Nice

My first listen....quite likeable, indeed! Is the rest of the album similar?
Yup. Get Temporary Dive too!
Nice. A little whimsical, if that's the word I'm looking for.

But calling Fyrisån a river is stretching it. It's more like a small stream.

Well, Iceland is really not a Scandinavian country technically speaking, though it is a Nordic country. Iceland is an island far off the coast of Norway, about halfway between the US and Norway.
And here we have a cyclone (typhoon) going past our front door bringing gazillions of rain so the thought of an nordic/icelandic mindset gets me...

Seemless transition from Neko Case, very nice. I like her, on my ubercrap laptop speakers she sounds a bit like Ani DiFranco.

Very talented woman! Can't help but compare her to Zelmani; Not to Ane's advantage though.
Sitting by the river, falling a sleep after a wild party. Nostalgia: I am getting wet... It makes everything so relative.
Nice addition. Something soothing about this. I like it.
