Like the song, but not this arrangement so much. Or maybe it is the playing that does not impress me.... feels a bit amateurish to me.

Ah thanks! That's who I was trying, unsuccessfully to remember. Loved his version at the time.

I recently discovered that Jennifer Connelly isn't actually the one singing the song.  It's Anita Kelsey.

She's not the best singer, but man... that scene was hot.

Great afternoon pick-me-up! {#Dancingbanana}

Amen to that !  ...but these guys are definitely good.

Hey Bill....The "Artist Info (AMG)" link is not conecting us directly to the artist. Any chance of a repair?
Great set this morning.
Go Frank & Joe Go

Thought this was Rodrigo y Gabriela, but these guys are just as good.

Such nice boys

Nice, but I must say I love the Pussycat Doll's version better.

You've got to be kidding. Try the Blue Hawaiians, or better yet, Dean Martin.

Beautiful and romantic. Takes me back to BA in '82 and poor dear General Galtieri.
Dear General Galtieri?? "In 1975, after more than 25 years as a combat engineer, he became commander of the Argentine engineering corps. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the military coup that started the self-styled National Reorganization Process in 1976 and rose further, becoming a major general in 1977 and commander-in-chief in 1980 with the rank of lieutenant general." "During the junta's rule, parliament was suspended, unions, political parties and provincial governments were banned, and in what became known as the "Dirty War" between 9,000 and 30,000 people deemed left-wing "subversives" were disappeared from society. Torture and mass executions were both commonplace. The economy, which had been in dire condition prior to the coup, recovered for a short time, then deteriorated further." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopoldo_Galtieri
This is so much fun!
damn good

great wind-me-up music for a Friday afternoon - let's get outta here!!
Damn!
Badass guitar. Just freakin' badass.
Great song. Too short. I'd love to hear some more of these guys. I checked out some of their 30 sec previews on itunes (sounds like they do a pretty good "spiderman" theme-song cover), but I'm gonna hold off on buying the album until I hear another good song.

Ya know, I'm sure I've heard it from Madeleine, but I can't find it. I suppose its possible I'm getting mixed up with Michael Bublé, our Dean Martin-like Canuck crooner. He has a pretty good rendition. But I'm sure I've heard Madeleine do this cut. Gotta phone the local broadcaster ... ick.
Keep me posted, and shower after you call that broadcaster. That'll help reduce the ick.

Nice track. However, Madeleine Peyroux has a very sultry version of Sway that I'd rather listen to.
Sultrier (is that even a word?) than this? Where can it be found? An inquiring mind and Madeleine fan would love to know.

No, it's just not for me.
Is it physically possible to sway at that speed? Seems like it would come off more like spastic jerking. Interesting novelty number, but, eh. Not for me.

Frenetic - yes - maybe that's why they play it at 66 2/3 instead of 33 1/3 !
I like this show!
Í Dansi Með Þér
If ever a song called for a dancing banana, this is it!!! I think I even hear cowbell!! Woohoo!!! Dean Martin would be so proud (drunk, but proud)
I like the cover art as much as the soong
