Sit back, matter of fact
Teasing, toying, turning, chatting,
Charming, hissing, playin' the crowd

Play that song again
Another couple Klonopin
A nod, a glance, a half-hearted bow

Oh such grace
Oh such beauty
And lipstick and callous
And fishnets and malice
Oh darlin'

You're a million ways to be cruel
(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel
(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel

I should, I wish I could, maybe if you were I would
A list of standard issue regrets
One last eighty proof, slouchin' in the corner booth
Baby, it's as good as it gets

Oh such grace
Oh such beauty
So precious, suspicious, and charming, and vicious
Oh darlin'
You're a million ways
Oh darlin'

You're a million ways to be cruel
(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel
(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel

Oh darlin'
Oh darlin'
You're a million ways
Oh darlin'
Oh darlin'
You're a million ways

Oh darlin'
Oh darlin'
You're a million ways to be
Oh oh oh oh oh

(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel
You're a million ways to be cruel
(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel
You're a million ways to be cruel
(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel
(One zero zero zero zero zero zero cruel)
You're a million ways to be cruel

Never heard of this band before, but my first impression of this song is very positive. Definitely going to check out their albums!

They're all so creative and innovative and fun, but Needing/Getting has got to be my favorite.  The setup and execution are mind blowing.

What a fukin' bass player.......... {#Bananajam}
In Band Hero, I always play Midori.
And because of the intro, "Home By The Sea" by Genesis would fit next...

That video brings back memories. My daughter was in High School  when it showed up on Youtube. Her an her friends duplicated their moves, as did many others at the time, and put it up on Youtube.
A couple of weeks ago, OK GO played at the college where she is a student. Her and the same friend from high school went and met the band after the show and had their picture taken with them. As stated earlier, they seem to be very nice guys.
The primary of which is to play this song!!{#Puke}
Ok No

Got to meet them a few days ago at a show in Virginia. They were some of the nicest, well-grounded, intelligent musicians I have ever met. They spent a long time with the stage crews and volunteers, and were genuinely friendly. No treadmills, though...
Word on the street is that OKGO are now the choreographers for Dancing with the Stars and have given up on pop music. Believe it...or not!?!

I just saw this band in DC doing a benefit with a New Orleans Band (Bonearama). Awesome!
this song reminds me of Rocky Horror for some reason... maybe because of the dronish chanting... hehe.

Many musicians use Klonopin to alleviate stage fright. Relaxes you without dulling your senses.

I know, right? The term "boy band" is catchy alliteration.Truthfully though, I expect you to play instruments and write the bulk of the music to earn the "band" label. You dont just sing well and dance like a urban/street dance trained poodle. WTF.... OkGo did a funny cute "dance" in the video, which is great promo for the song. They at least wrote and played on the original recording.
Yes
Great Bass presence
This song is just disgustingly catchy! I have been assimilated!!

walked into a cd store about a year and a half ago, listened to the first few minutes of a couple of tracks on this CD - and promptly purchased. good stuff . . . across the board.
That bass line is kickin'.
Wow, they've tapped into a cool sound here...vaguely Franz Ferdie, a bit Blurry, even slightly Kinky! I think I like it! Yeah! Hey, it's the Beckster funking up my speaks next! Taking it to 11, Captain!
Video of this song. You gotta check out the brilliance of this other video by them: Dancing. On Treadmills.

I also saw the video on the Paste DVD - I was impressed. It took a lot of skill and a great sense of humor to dance like that. It seemed like it was a continuous video with no editing. Better than the overproduced music videos.
I just got introduced to these folks a couple of days ago. I'm impressed!

Treadmills! Yeah, I know it's not this song, but you guys have GOT to see the treadmill video (Here It Goes Again). Even if you don't like the band you can imagine how many times they busted their asses practicing.
They said they paracticed for 30 hrs. I'm dancin'
ha, i just realized that the chorus is singing One, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero...
Could be sampled from any number of 'The Jam' tunes. Paul Weller is waiting for his royalty check/checque.

they lip sync in a live concert?? well that firms up my 1 vote for sure
Wow, you've jumped on a lame excuse to justify your low rating. I've seen them live twice. They lip sync for one specific song which allows them to do their dance. It's a funny, energetic dance that few could sing along to while performing. If you had been to one of their shows too, you would have heard the lead singer join the floor crowd to belt out some lines sans mike, and you would not be able to malign his ability to really sing.
Okay RP, I'd really like to leave work. Could you please play something crappy so I can bring myself to log off my computer?
to be cruel? This music is rotting my brain!
Every time I hear this song, I feel compelled to watch the video
Catchy, good...i like it. Their first album was ok (no joke intended), is this one better?
Hello my treacherous friends....
I'm am LOVING this playlist! 1:24 pm - OK Go - A Million Ways 1:21 pm - Morcheeba - Aqualung 1:17 pm - RjD2 - Smoke & Mirrors 1:14 pm - Gnarls Barkley - Crazy 1:10 pm - Jem - Come On Closer The video for this song is hilarious! The guys from the band have come up with this great choreography for the song, and they're just in their back yard dancing. EDIT: I see others have already commented on the video. Sorry for the repeat. Sometimes you're the pirate, and other times you're the parrot.

Not to mention that their debut album (not Oh No, which is from last year) is from 2002, long before most people knew who Franz Ferdinand was. In any event, these guys have a humorous alternative video to this song. Definitely worth a look: https://www.okgo.net/news.aspx

This song falls into a category I like to call, "small town" - dubiously named after John Melonchump's song of the same title in which he feels the need to repeat those two words to great excess. "A million ways..." repeated no less than 17 times in this song. Yes, I actually counted. It made listening to the song more interesting. To this song I say, "OK Go - away".

Saw Ok Go live last year supporting Brendan Benson - they blew him away. I submitted a track from their first album 'Ok go' last year but got a 'sorry' - maybe time to resubmit now that RP has 'seen the light'....
!!! That video was great! Thanks for the link!

If I'm remembering correctly, the choreographer was the sister of one of the band members who is a professional dancer/choreographer. Terri Gross interviewed both of them on Fresh Air a while back.
The video was genious, very nice.
