This is weird, as, for that matter, is the album cover. 

It reminds me of a book, with a CD, called "Songs in the Key of Z." Subtitled "The Curious Universe of Outsider Music" by Irwin Chusid.

Happy to claim I've seen Zakir Hussain at least 3x in concert. The last time w/Mickey Hart on their 2008 planet drum tour. World's best percussionist, that is ZH. Nobody comes close.

Tabla by Talvin Singh. The man is a genius. His playing is really something to behold when seen and heard live. The range of sounds and complex rhythms the man can produce seem impossible, even when you are watching him. Spellbinding.

The drumming is by Talvin Singh. I saw him play two nights ago in Brighton. His tabla playing is breathtaking.

I can see that for many it might be difficult to get into this, but I really admire RP for playing something so diverse and interesting.

It's just one big repetiton, which was probably sequenced electronically, which means the musicians (if you can call them that) didn't do anything. Though, at 2:30AM, I'm really tired and either I'm numb or the music is making me numb.
