Who is Deloris [sic] O?
ahhh, Bjork!   nice morning music  ("pickle pickle, leg's on fire!" : )
She rides a one trick vocal pony--uugh...

This movie made me cry buckets.  Jean Reno was awesome in it.  And didn't Luc Besson direct it?

Yup, Luc Besson, he of the bruce willis "The fifth element" fame.  The Professional was a great movie, Gary Oldman deserved an Oscar for his cray guy performance.

Something about this song and her voice always makes me stop and listen....

ditto. Pavlovian gag reflex.

I've always been fascinated by Björk. I love her music, her quirk acting style (Dancer in the Dark is highly recommended) and she has such a great face.

This is easily my personal favourite pencil drawing. It combines a portrait & hands - my two fave things.

Hope you like. :)

I really love this pencil drawing - it reveals a vulnerability not easily discerned from her music. Those nibbled fingernails, and freckles! I think BikerScout's rendition humanizes what might be to some people an intimidating powerhouse of a woman.  Thank you, Calypsus_1.  Sometimes a picture is worth far more than a thousand words.

One of the best, original female singers over the past 20 years or so.  This Debut album was a delight following her Sugarcube days, of which I was a rabid fan.

And the album was absolutely brilliant and fresh.  Although Post was where she really knocked my socks off.  She never really made another album that moved me as much as that one.

Ok, I know it's old.  But I still think it's funny.

I have an instinctual negative reaction to Bjork and am surprised when I almost always enjoy her music.

What a great movie and story!  "No women, no kids."

Byork = Most-overrated-artist-that-isn't-so-commercial-in-U.S-yet-she-is-fairly-well-known.

You know, after listening to the song I can say that her vocals on the song do show some slight bit of strength and quality that many mainstream singers today would be either too scared too attempt or too insecure to do without hiding behind the curtain of pitch correction.

I like the music, they should extract that womans voice and it might be a good song!{#Yes}

What are you talking about?
Great, a 10.
This is great, love hearing it on RP. I think of the scene in Leon: The Professional when I hear this. Awesome.
FEMALE RADIOHEAD FROM THE NORTH-POLE!

Original and unpretentious. I like just about everything about this one.

And she's an original. Plus, I believe she's the only female Icelandic artist played on RP.

I'm getting a little bjored with all the Bjork being played recently.
Screechy.
One of the most talented women alive.

she's someone i'm glad i'll be able to say,"i saw her" when i'm dying.  she's also an artist who commits fully to her art and left me in awe.   cheers bjork!
Greetings to Eva-Maria!

Oh yes, I certainly do.
Particularily the extended version that contained the 23 minutes of story that the yank preview audience found too morally challenging to stomach. ;)

..remember Natalie Portman
Always loved this song and this album got a lot of play by me in about 1997.

I like the joke! Wished I had more time to read the other comments and try to figure out where this is all coming from.

Listen to "Where Is The Line" from her album Medulla and tell me if you think she is still cute. Better yet, watch the video at the same time.

Well put. I'm amazed at the negative comments on this one. Just goes to show you how many people have never been laid....

I like Venus As A Boy Harpsichord too—the song I mean. . .

Points off. It's Sinéad O'Connor. You WILL be graded on spelling. Always.
Skinhead O' Connor ;). I never really know what to think of Björk. I like her person, her personality. I think she has some really strong stuff in her music and the way she uses her voice, but I'd never put it on, at home. I think I have respect for Björk, but that's not particularly because I like her music that much.
His sphincter??
special - makes me think of Leon!
version sounds different from original - different timing? E

I love this song- it always reminds me of that fantastic scene with Natalie Portman and Jean Reno in The Professional
sounds like something from an indian movie at times
Every time I hear her sing I 'Poppa Chubby'.
When Björk writes a song about sex, it's actually sexy.

A banshee, perhaps?
Mythical...
as always, an enveloping, ethereal, coneptual artform
The accompanyment is equisite, Bjórk no less!
Cool! Very Cool!

That voice that voice, crystalline, unmistakeable
