Alone on a train aimless in wonder
An outdated map crumpled in my pocket
But I didn't care where I was going
They're all different names for the same place.

The coast disappeared when the sea drowned the sun
I knew no words to share with anyone
The boundaries of language I quietly cursed
All the different names for the same thing.

There are different names for the same thing
There are different names for the same thing...

He's a glum little monkey, but I do like his tunes...

I really enjoy the drummer's work.

John Lennon? No way!
Sounds a lot like John Lennon. Nice. 7

Nice band, but I would highly recommend the band after whose song they name their group: The Bonzo Dog Doo-dah Band. I wish they would play some of that. Vintage stuff!
You got that right, Brother! Saw em at the Fillmore in 70 and was a changed man. They were fabulous musicians who could satirize anything. Urban Spaceman

Damn, I thought it was over.
Wow...the song changed, but, whoa... that worked remarkably well, actually...

Some of this sounds an awful lot like the work done by Postal Service. I'm also trying to get to know Death Cab For Cutie a bit better.
Well... Ben Gibbard of DCFC contributed guitar, lyrics & vox to the Postal Service album Give Up. =)
Some of this sounds an awful lot like the work done by Postal Service. I'm also trying to get to know Death Cab For Cutie a bit better. This is fairly okay
"The boundaries of language I quietly curse.. They're all different names for the same thing" Yes, DCFC is not revolutionary, but they do Pop well. That bassline that chimes in halfway through reminds me of "Don't Give Up".
I'm trying to like this band, really I am...but I just don't like the singer's voice. still, I think they are better than Coldplay - but that's not much of a horse race.
