Oh it's been too many times and I can't go back
Night bars, guitars, rundown motels like shacks
What it mounts up to I don't want it at all
Lost you and I want you today

Misty green and blue
Love to love to love you
Misty green and blue
Love to love to love you

To be something, to be near you
Don't say that you'll never know
Love to love to love you

Half the time it could seem funny
The other half is just too sad
This west bound moon's they rise and fall
Lost you and I want you today

Misty green and blue
Love to love to love you
Misty green and blue
Love to love to love you

To be something, to be near you
I don't know where I'm goin' to
I've tried and I need you to stay
Yeah, yeah!

Iconic! Epic! Boring as a dead possum.
UFO... REO Speed Wagon... and Edgar Winter... that was a concert I'll never forget!

Walked into the room, heard UFO playing and thought, "hey, who changed my internet radio station while I wasn't looking??".  I'm ok with that, btw... UFO is a fantastic band, and Michael Schenker a vastly underrated guitarist, and I love that they are in the rotation on RP!

Going to see Michael Schenker this fall in Chicago.  his 50th anniversay show.  i bet he still shreds.  can't wait!

No matter how you slice it....This is a great tune.....

Why I love RP: I'm 52, steeped in "classic rock", thought I'd heard just about everything. This is incredible and I have never, ever heard it before. Not here, not on "classic rock" radio. Never, as far as I can remember.
On a related note, why does the radio still play "More than a feeling"?!? Or 25 and 6 to 4? I mean, those (IMO) are no better than this and they've been beaten into the ground by now.
Thank the Gods for RP!

Because both "More Than A Feeling" and "25 and 6 to 4" are delightful and awesome. I mean, sure, anything can be overplayed but I'm almost never sad to hear either of those riffs hit.
The lyrics haven't hit yet and this is already a 7. Just pure, ridiculous, enjoyable self-indulgent Classic Rock. Sometimes, you just need to be pandered to, and I am here for it with this one.

Saw UFO with Rainbow as my first live concert in 1981 and I'll never forget it. I hear this song and it makes me want to drink really crappy alcohol.

Ratings all over the spectrum.  But only 29 ratings at time of this post.
I've never heard this on RP before, maybe ever.

All the smug Folkie, Snorah Jones loving types on RP who claim to be soooo open minded about music are having a fit right now.  Good.  A little Gibson guitar and Marshall amplification will tighten your flabby ears. {#Bananajam}
Are you kidding? Too cheesy! No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This band is not your average hard rock/metal band. You can play anything off of Strangers in the Night and I will be in heaven. This is the only UFO cd you need to own, but all should own this. All those hair bands from the 80's owe a debt to this band who paved the way and no one has been able to duplicate their magic from this cd, including UFO themselves.
It's been a while since I heard some UFO. Not sure if I could hear this everyday but it was interesting for the ears. Thanks!
Sure, it's cheesy, but the playing is solid. Still sounds pretty good. Much more fun than a lot of the rock being currently produced. EDIT--Bill, this is begging to be followed up by "Friday Night," that The Darkness song in the library that has (ahem) not been played yet.
Sorry... but when I ran out of 'ludes I stopped liking UFO...

Probably the most underated heavy rock/ metal band of their era. This really dusts off a lot old memories of my wannabe guitar god days.
Haven't heard this one in years but I remember this as a great album. Lights out is a terrific song.
Oh man - put on my wig and fire up my air-guitar!
