Lyrics:

Daylight comes, daylight comes
And you've gotta go
Breaks my heart, breaks my heart
To have to watch you go
Wish I knew, wish I knew
When you'll be back again
However long, it's just too long
Until we meet again

Stay now, stay now
Just a little more
'Coz this love, this love
Is what living's for
Stay now

Hide in bed, sheets overhead
Blocking out the sun
Feel like we are marooned at sea
Away from everyone
And I, I hate to say goodbye
I, want you to touch me one more time

Stay now, stay now
Just a little more
'Coz this love, this love
Is what living's for
Stay now, stay now
Just a little more
'Coz this love, this love
Is what living's for
Stay now
Stay now
Stay now

wikipedia galactica entry in 20 years: millindie music: plodding electronica music for a few years after the turn of the century notable mainly for whispering vocals, ironic t-shirts, beat style hair, and the overuse of the theremin. Replaced totally by 2008 by the unexpected resurgence of mid 20th century doo-wop and the iconization of Sha-Na-Na.
Dido?

Aha! I'm not alone...

Lordy, is that a zither being played? very odd addition to this mostly pretty groovy tune edit: nope, I see from previous posts its a theremin....still an oddity here

I saw her with He-Man pan-handling on the streets of Bedrock the other day. Tough break she was a cute kid.
Love this tune! BTW, Paste Mag has an article on the theremin in its latest issue.
for a band that uses theremin with moxie... check Mercury Rev. Deserter's Songs...
Theremin players do it without touching.
I thought they cancelled her cartoon years ago.
very idyllic.. and when in the mood for it, it is quite nice.

What's a thuramin ? I've tried wikipedia and Google, but no luck. Edit: Oh You mean a theremin as used on Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys. Yes, it can be heard on a lot more tracks than you might think. But it is supposed to be really hard to play well.
That spaceship sound is a thuramin. And, you'll find it more places than you know.

I quite agree...ruins the whole song for me

In a word: dull.
I think it's adult contemporary hour on RP
While "Just a Ride" is a great song, it's overplayed so it's nice to hear something else from this great album.
Eh, Just okay for me, Man...
I really like it. It's like Dido's voice mix with some Massive attack Saludos
