That's a quote from Catherine the Great, yes?

We saw them last Sunday night for the final show of their current tour. They are so good.

8.
Singer sounds a bit like Margo Timmins, of the Cowboy Junkies, on this song. {#Think}
I sure like this band, and this song really fits with the weather outside today, a snowy morning on the wet coast.

she's got a beautiful voice
My first thought in seeing the album cover was the scene from Animal House - dead horse in Dean Wormer's office, the old guy measures the horse, measures the door, then "off stage" you hear a chainsaw fire up...
Let's hear it for OtR!

yes! agreed ... a cheetah is far more beautiful ... plus it would kick a horse's ass.

No mystery, it's just a horse. Next to a nude human the horse is the most physically admirable animal on the planet, that's why in ancient and classical art you'll see numerous horse studies (see Leonardo, the Chinese, etc.) done with as much reverence as a David or Venus De Milo. Man and horse are paired on an interdependent subconscious level like few animals are (dogs are another). It's why the Greeks invented Pegasus and the centaur. Substitute the soft focus black & white photo of a headless horse with a similar headless torso of a nude woman (or man) and we have the same emotional response to it from an artistic appreciation because of centuries of living with them. This is of course is just my opinion as someone raised on a ranch with horses, and I don't even like to ride. If tonywhatever thinks that is all so much BS than he is just the ignorant troll that he appears to be.
Personally I prefer the Cheetah over the horse.

Grow up, Tony. (Bought that dictionary yet?) Here's a tip for you to avoid looking foolish. Before you post directly, put down your thoughts in a normal WORD document, run a spell check, make your corrections, then cut and paste to this page. That way you'll avoid those silly and embarrassing spelling errors.

No accounting, indeed. tony, I'm convinced you're an a-hole, so perhaps you need your testo tested. It seems a bit lacking on the latest series of interchanges. "analyize"? Meanwhile, those of us with a discernable forehead and two eyebrows will vote this song at least likeable, if not excellent.

Almost as bad as the Bad Seeds' "Where the Wild Roses Grow." Thank you for letting it end.
peaceful
Nice voice control and a velvety instrument. I do however find this piece a bit tedious.

Nothing worse than a pack o' rabid pessimists. Y'all commentators are MUCH more of a downer than this song. Go outside and get some sun! (or moonlight or fresh night air equally good).

Nice.
This hits the rainy-Monday-post-Thanksgiving-Back-to-work-winter-is-here-to-stay mood too well. I like it...
Thought this was Lucinda Williams.
This a great song. It's got such a nice relaxing, country cadence, but sounds still sounds like classic OTR. Bravo.
