Chris, I would advise you to NEVER base your opinions on what others may think, in all of life, not just here. But you sure chose the right emojoi! I personsally love his guitar work. So now which one can I use?

sounds like Spanish music - I personally also stopped my editing photos and just listened - really nice music

I know a lot of people think this restaurant music but I haven't heard a bad Jesse Cook track yet.  Helps me chill in lockdown.

You should check out his Friday Night Music series on YouTube.  Wonderful selection that spans a lot of feeling.
Hotel California?  Nice playing, pleasant song.

I've read the past comments... I can't tell if the song is creative or not, or if he is more talented than most or not. I can only say that it caught my attention, that I stopped typing for the time the song lasted and just sat at my desk, eyes closed, enjoying it. Nice experience, appreciated break, a solid 8 from me for now. {#Guitarist}

Speaking of guitar work Bill, why don't we ever hear the Feelies on here?

So mellow, so relaxing.  So perfect.

I couldn't agree more.  I've been trying to play guitar for 10 years now, and I will testify that the technical skills this player employs are a 10, and this melody on a classical guitar is not simple.

Good, but not Paco. Where is the blood?
Wonderful!!

I like it, but it makes me think:  Is it just me?

Or has it been a while since we heard Paco de Lucia et al on RP?...

I stopped work and checked to see who this was. Quite enjoyable.

Same here. Had to stop what I was doing to listen and check who this was.
Are we stuck in an elevator all the sudden?
Tumty Tum... ZZZ. Gosh a little too much on the boring side for me. At best an inoffensive filler. Sorry I should try to be a little more positive.
Reminiscent of Strunz and Farah...

Gentlemen could you make a few suggestions? I'd like to give a listen to some of Flamenco songs you like, if it would not be too much trouble. Have a wonderful day.
I often use RP for late night listening so this was perfect.

There are so many good authentic flamenco songs to choose from. This sounds a little like "easy to the ears-commercial" flamenco-ish . Perfect for the dentist waiting room.

Where's the yawn emoticon? {#Yell} Close enough.
this one reminds me, in parts, of melody of "Bacila je sve niz rijeku" by Indexi {#Think}

Just arrived via PSD
Hard to believe this hasn't made the playlist for nine years. Was a good song then...and now.
Not "a single new thought"? Jesse Cook may not be Great, but his music is very enjoyable and, imo, frequently offers new interpretations of timeless musical ideas. 7. SpaceCowboy wrote:

I only know of one flamenco guitar player who plays the blues: Raimundo Amador. This song is not a reverse case
esto es blah
This is really boring.
This is not original, not creative and as such, not interesting. Perfect example of a dexterous musician without a single new thought about music or songwriting. Usually these people end up playing background music for people waiting in hotel foyers, or get recorded and played in elevators. Forgettable.
I kinda like this, but I think listening to a whole CD would drive me against the walls.
Wow, a cut off his debut! Happy to hear it. If you don't own this album, you owe it to yourself to pick it up. And get Gravity while you're at it. It's hard to believe he's only been making music 10 years, this sounds so timeless. Great stuff.
