I like most of Steve's output, except No Man,. He seems to be Porcupine Tree in most of his projects, I wonder who the real Steven Wilson is?

Nate, You should listen to Stupid Dream, as it is most like Blackfield with its soft sound of rock and roll. And don't start with all the Horst the Hater bullshit, we are well past that (I hope). Steven Wilson is like one of the onions in Shrek, many layers, each revealing much more than the last. As he grows older and wiser, Steven is turning more towards heavy metal, especially the influences of Opeth and Katatonia. And it is funny that Opeth is turning softer, more closer to Porcupine Tree in their latest release "Heritage". Have fun!

BTW there is an extended version of this song available on Soundcloud under Steven Wilson's tunes. Awesome....
Both Blackfield 1 & 2 have great tunes. I'm not in love with the new one much yet. If you don't have the live DVD of Blackfield you need to pick it up... very nice
Was so excited to see these guys in Toronto. But alas fate intervened and Steven Wilson's Dad passed and it was cancelled. Hope they swing back through now that he's back with Blackfield.
