Amazing Movie wonderful soundtrack! This song deserves more than a 5+ average ... this is art not commercial music. (*cough *cough U2) OScar
Killer tune. The bird calls during the fade out remind me it's time to clean up the old Browning Auto-5 for the upcoming season.
Generally, I like Nick Cave, especially with the Bad Seeds. But not this Nick Cave. This sucks. =;
It reminds me of someone reading a book aloud. No thanks. I read my own books.

weird...I never noticed how Nick Cave sounds like Roger Whittaker.

this is the musical equivalent of those inspirational posters with a photo of a beach at sunset, footprints in the sand and overlayed with a bad poem in script. it must be the stock beach sound effects in the background. awful.
LOL!
Sorry. This gets a sucko from me.
If I ever start a list of songs with bird sound FX in it. This song would definitely be on that list.
I love the interlaced Sandhill Crane sounds. Thanks for introducing me to something new with this song!
NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!! ...If your gonna do this kind of sound at least do Shawn Phillips!!! Even Richard Harris's MacArthur Park would sound better than this.

Wow, shades of the Dead can Dance. This group sounds like all kinds of different groups. I never have paid much attention to Nick Cave, but I am paying attention now.

I like Nick Cave generally, but find this offering somewhat uninspired. My vote of a '5' was probably generous.
My vote of a 2 was generous, too. I personally feel that the song is better than a 2 (probably somewhere around a 4ish or 5ish), but I'd rather not hear this song again so my vote is more of me sending a message to Bill than it is me rating it on its merits. And the more I hear it, the more I think it's crap.
I really, really like Nick Cave, but I think this song really, really blows.
Sorry I'd rate it Ho Hum or Acceptable. I'd rather not hear much of it...

I'm loving Nick Cave these days, and I think this song is gorgeous--a perfect companion to the gorgeoes, superb Winged Migration film.

Used at the end of the movie "Winged Migration" - a favorite of mine that stays on the TIVO and used for those moments when I need to escape from the hustle and bustle of life for a short period of time.
Nice piece, but
