I am a pretty diehard MPPA fan, and this album is one of their best! I caught them opening for Nickel Creek in Athens a few weeks ago...the 40+ crowd didn't quite know what to do, but the UGA kids liked them. Their new album is very good, but not quite as good as this one. Visit their website also for a very funny blog...
Agreed flyfree, this is a fantastic CD. Not a bad tune on it!
There is nothing really remarkable about this. Except how bland it is, I guess.

glad you're diggin' it JohnErle! fwiw... i believe that MPPA graphic is probably taken from the "deer crossing" signs that you find about every 50yds in parts of PA: i was a big fan of the "Deer Apartments" album cover too:
I posted something similar on another song from this album, but that cover really reminds of an iconic image that Big Country used variations of on several releases, including this one... Nice song, BTW.
Sounds a bit like the Moody Blues mixed with a dash of ELO. In a good way.

Nice segue from Pink Floyd's "Summer 68"! Great job, Bill (as always)!

XTC-lite? Hmmm. Decent tune.

BAM, and for a moment it's the highest rated song on RP. Good song, I give songs I like a 10, and songs I dislike a 0. It's an unjust and lazy system, but I like it.
