On this particular song, the style/sound reminds me of The Clarks, a great band from the Pittsburgh area.

It goes toe to toe with the strong disc of Being There, and much better than the weak disc of Being There.

The best Wilco album IMHO.  Kinda wore it out back in the day, but it never gets old for me.

Yeah.  Their stuff was pretty likable as a whole for about the first 9 years of their recordings (for me, anyway).  But I just find myself indifferent to what's been going on since then.  That said, each later album seems to have at least one killer tune.

Ah....a good, old midwestern RnR band from the Illinois side in the STL region; on the Mississippi River.

Songs about love, sex, hope, dreams, forlorn, etc. And driving those back roads in and around Belleville, IL (the home of Wilco).

Excellent work.  I saw them LIVE in upstate NY just before the release of Being There (1996) and they played a number of tunes from A.M.  I hear that Jeff Tweedy does not really enjoy playing Box Full of Letters any more.  Too bad.  It is a great tune...probably a bit too commercial for his taste, however.  9/10 for me.

Saw them this summer and they played a number of tunes off of AM...great show, great band live...Nels Cline is unbelievable, and the perfect combo to Jeff...best show of the summer for me!
