kind of flat, really. "Miracle Drug" is to "classic U2" ...as... "Sting" is to "Police"
Even when you take it out of the context of their past work-- Judged solely on its own merits-- This is just plain awful. Nearly every song on this cd. It's so bad, that it almost seems to resonate down through the years and suckify what they've done before! Ever listen to this song on headphones? The mix is so full of schlock, you almost expect to see the champaigne bubbles ("...and-a-one, and-a-two, and-a-three...")! What were they thinking?
Well, that one sucked, too. :? The opening was kinda nice, the beginning of the lyrics was likable. Then it just blew chunks.

Someday perhaps our resident anti-U2 crusader here will give up the good fight & let a new U2 song slip into the library without slapping it down with a negative comment. I dunno, I think I might be kind of disappointed...
Like I've said before, it just isn't a U2 comment page without a blast from Tux!

Sheesh! how is it that they have a $40 collector's edition when this just came out? #-o
Because it has a book and a bonus cd, sheesh!

There are several U2 tunes that I not (yet) commented upon. I could not resist this one and have two days of joy in seeing a U2 tune with an avarage "1" rating. I heard it, sadly, because I was fixing the filter, and it was not running.

It's U2 - they are one hell of a selling machine! Just as well they're so good
I love RP! Now maybe I should stop being such a dolt and send in a donation! U2 ROCKS! I'm just glad I know about the collector's edition now, so I can avoid the mistake I made when their various greatest hits came out, only to be supplanted by special greatest hits with B-sides...Shakespeare said "kill the lawyers" I say... Kill the Marketing Department! Keep it real...

How to enjoy seeing a U2 tune with an avarage score of "1" :) I know it won't stand long, but I've seen it happen now.

Hey, Tux! What does it feel like to look forward to DISliking something?? Ooooooo, that's a 10...

First time I hear this! How exciting I think I like it, needs to mature a bit though..
