I like your review - I like the Lips, and this ain't too bad (like a Lips outtake) but I still like your review - pithy.

ooo ... this sounds like an 'extra' scene cut from 'this is spinal tap' ... another 'phase'?
I hear what you mean, but still ... I seem to like it more every time I hear it.
Could it be a clone of Jon Anderson singing?

I agree. I have a general rule that I have developed: run away fast from anything associated with the Flaming Lips.

Yup.
Nice job with the transition from Joseph Arthur. Every time I hear those opening notes, I think it's a JA song, so it was funny to hear this come on right after him.

My first reaction as well. However, since they are listed as being on this track, its probably for good reason that it does sound like them. I just ordered this disc, am interested in seeing how good it proves to be.
Well, now that I have it, have to say it's ok (this disc). Hit or miss. Good songs and bad. Oh well.....
kinda sappy sounding at first, but i think i may like it.

think I preferred the original version of this...a more stripped down version on the original release of "Your Love Means Everything"
I like it. Then again, for some reason, I'm getting into the happier sounding vocals (even though this song is actually quite sad), like the Polyphonic Spree, which, btw, I have NOT heard as yet on this station. C'mon Bill!

not as clever or cool as it thinks it is
I thought it was Neil on vocals. 8O Very nice.
love the cheesy 70's synth and retro vocals. well, love is probably too strong a word. like? hmmm...no, more like can tolerate. OK, actually I detest it! Yeah, that's it!.
