Walking barefoot on the shore
Hypnotized by the ocean roaring
Thoughts of you drifting in and out
Never fails to calm me down.

I still see your eyes where light hits the water
and I've never seen a color so beautiful
So Blue... Ocean Blue

I keep moving to the steady sounds and visions of you drifting in and out
Clouds mixing in with the sand and the sea
Sounds get carried on the ocean breeze.

I still hear your voice from across the horizon
And wasn't that you walking into the shadows?

In time I'll believe it was just an illusion
In time I'll believe it was only a dream...

I still see your eyes where light hits the water
And I've never seen a color so beautiful
I still hear your voice from across the horizon
And wasn't that you walking into the shadows?

In time I'll believe it was just an illusion
In time I'll believe it was only a dream
Till then I will breathe you in from the ocean
And walk with the waves rolling under my feet.

The nice thing about PSD is that you get rewarded for your own good taste. It can't be a coincidence that my high ratings are the ones most likely to pop up. Even the ones that haven't been played in the general playlist for years. Like this gem.
Always been a sucker for harmonies.

How about followin' up with some Mannheim Steamroller?  Whaddya say, Bill?
(awwww, I'm just messin' witcha ;^) )
Ah....just what I was waiting for...music who's poop doesn't stink.....
to play this after Madrugada really is blasphemy
Great song, more music like this on RP would be great.
ooooohhhh...Erik Satie is gonna be so mad when he finds out! {#Cowboy}

{#Yes}

Sounds like Enya.  I picture clouds, feathers, pillows, soft skin, flowers, smelly soaps...
Thought it was the Cocteau Twins at first...

A little heavy handed on the vocal processing, eh?
I always enjoy hearing Delerium!

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Would be kind of nice as hangover music.
I know a lot of RP folks don't seem to like the downtempo stuff, but I can't get enough, and this is one of my very favorite songs from Delerium.

Just looked it up: Margaret Far
Who is singing?
I think we just heard her clone, along with the Cocteau Twins on instrumentation. But, I've liked various bits of their output before, so this ain't half bad.
Arrgghhh.... whats next Enya?
This is quite nice. If you have heard Ulrich Schnauss's remixes of Rachel Gosswell's "Coastline" .. it's in the same vein. A very good one at that.

Oh really? When did William Orbit become a drummer? hehe.
No doubt about it: the groove is a complete ripoff of Trois Gymnopédies by Erik Satie. Je pense qu'ils doivent trouver un moyen de laisser tomber ces personnes musicales du fin de siecle. Merde alors! Oh la vache! Ca va pas, non?
Not my fave Delerium tune, but loverly nevertheless.

And blues is full of "blues" clichés. And reggae is full of "reggae" clichés. And jazz is full of "jazz" clichés. What's your point. Nothing is original. Like it or don't. You're not changing anyone's mind by pointing out that this has trance elements. Newsflash: the 12-bar blues is found in most 12-bar blues songs!
Ouch designergirl!!! No need to be so harsh!!! ps I went to 12 bars once!!!

haha I thought the vocals sounded a lot like the Cocteau Twins too. I like it...but I will admit the beat seems very familiar.
The album is pretty nice, buy it.
Does anybody else hear it? I hear echoes of the Alan Parson's Projects "Time" in there. Time goes by like a river to the sea

Chill out.
Of course I love it...its Delerium!

D'accord
A staple at the new age witchcraft stores...they sell it next to the divining rods and the velvet cloaks.
This song is putting me at ease.... :)
9.5
Better ...

MP3 flaws at the start. Lot's of weird sounds in the first 10 seconds
It's not a flaw, it's just a filter on the drums at the beginning of the song. Effects like that are common in electronic music. I own the album and love it. It takes a few listens for some of the songs because the beginnings are sometimes cheesy, but that and the new Conjure One albums are my favorite to albums date. ...and I don't like Enya, go figure. I guess if you are into the genre you can hear the difference. If you're not, it probably sounds the same.
Nice to nap to.

does this add up?? enya+reverb+drum machine=delerium??
hah. just set the drum machine to the clichéd early 90s "deep" preset (see also Enigma), and you're good to go. what... no gregorian chants over top? i feel ripped off.
At first I thought, "Ahh, it's Delerium." Then I thought, "No, wait - this sounds like Cocteau Twins." Now I don't know what to think. Does this make me a Republican or a Democrat?
Il n'y a pas de doute qu'on peut entendre Les Trois Gymnopédies de Erik Satie dans cette chanson. Vive Erik!
I love the Gymnopédies... ...and I really like this.
Very formulaic, full of "trance" clichés.

Anyone else hearing Hooverphonic? (Note: That is most certainly not a bad thing!)
Love Love Love Delerium..............

RP never lets me down. :) It's nice to know you aren't the only person to hear certain strains in a song sometimes. ;)
