Good to see another song that made it to the playlist as yet, after being refused at first.
One of the best songs/artists to come from the (lets say) Lowlands lately, IMO.
I saw Joost Zweegers and his band do this song live and he played the piano, sang the leadvocals and managed to sing most of the demanding back-up vocals too, in a superb way!
A neighbour thought Novastar didn't stand a chance in comparison to a somewhat similar band like Coldplay (everything coming from abroad is better?) Well, I think Coldplay would be rather proud of a song like this.
The melody of the verses reminds me of a seventies song by the (Dutch!) sympho rock band Kayak. Ruthless Queen.

Great melody and what a voice from this singer: Joost Zweegers, a Belgian Dutchman (or is it a Dutch Belgian?).
Check out the CD by Ozark Henry (he sings here some background voice and produced the Novastar album).
Peace.

I'm from Holland, genetically, and I believe it is Dutgian Belchman....
Hey...do I hear Dave Matthews and Bono helping out in this song? Or is it another Bono-soundalike? Whatever...it's nice!

Sounds like...Radiohead? But in a good way?
No just as bad. And as bad as U2, Starsailor, Muse, and Coldplay too. I *do* compare. Same crap, just a tiny little bit better.
They get a 2
Added to mute-list

Just wanted to be the first person to offer a comment. Nothing too profound to say. I just like it.
