these comments crack me up.

BT is seen amongst critics and professional reviewers as being extremely eclectic, to some the definition of eclectic, you know, like RP.

This whole album got mixed reviews, but overall, BT sits in that odd little corner of taking all the influences we love to listen to and pushing the boundaries of them through electronica.

Start with Movement in Still Life if interested.

Good movie score music, I say.
That's exactly what I was thinking. A movie starring, say, Peter North and Jenna Jameson.

Or his hair.

The vocals sound like a crappy 80s metal ballad until the backing singers come in then it just sounds like crap in general. 1. Horrible song.

Damn--themersum some harsh comments! I just heard this for the first time. Nothing deep, but a cool tune! It's easier for the grumpies to change the channel than it is for the rest of us to find the gems you guys dig up, so keep it comin'!
C'mon, this is not that bad. Good movie score music, I say. All you naysayers, just be glad this dude didn't get his start in the 80s. Imagine the synth-drum machine monstrosities he might have concocted. Proof that the 90s were indeed a giant leap forward for humankind.
very easily forgotten , with lots of styling gel and too much time in the sun
dung.
please please please never again
i don't usually make neg comments, but that was pleh.
Music is stirring. Vocals are stellar. Very nice!
MINUS 3 POINTS FOR USING THE LYRIC "IT'S ALL GOOD"

Very unqualified comment methinks. You apparently judge this guy by his looks and dress sense. I hear the music, and it is F%KIN GOOD!! Love it to bits.
Uh, actually I was thinking the same thing (one man boy-band) before I looked at the album art, comments here, etc. I like it somewhat, but it does sound a little over-the-top, IMHO
what is this crap. this is not unlike reo speedwagon. i shall hurl now.
Sounds a little like Rob Dougan (a couple instrumental versions of his songs showed up on the Matrix soundtracks)... mellow sort-of electronica.

No argument on the quality of the music, but Brian Transeau DID produce *NSYNC and Britney Spears... Likeable tune anyway.

I think that album cover is in the dictionary next to the word "dandy".
I like it and it creates an empathic mood. and the singers at the end... WOW. Makes me realize that there are different ways to express a song and how to interpret one as well.

Yeah, and a "L" short of a sandwich.
Like it, Nice! Ok....so I just got up.
Wow! I don't remember his stuff being this elaborate a few years ago...I think I like it!

YES without the content?
Nothing wrong with it. Technically ok. Fits together nicely. Just forgettable somehow.
Did I hear something about swelling seratonin while passing through? That alone has got to be worth a rating's point for plain old nerve. It's amazing what gets worked into lyrics nowadays...
o.k., pretty cool. maybe a little over the top, but i'm listening.

BT: British Telecom?
Brian Transeau iirc. Nice song, very different to his older stuff.
BT: British Telecom?
I like the beginnig, but then it becomes very esoteric and poppy. A 3
Sounds a bit like Alice in Chains?
BT rocks.... a little bit Air, some Porcupine Tree, and mix in a dose of Gospel vocals. Groovy.

Wow, this sounds cool.... Sounds a bit like Tears For Fears...
They got an ASIA thing goin'...

The challenge of RP....a dozen albums bought after hearing the hits on RP and Bill's picks have never been topped. Cool music!
I'm with you.. I've bought a number of discs based on RP comments and what I thought had potential. Found a number of disappointments but even more gems; such is the game of finding new music. But I would much rather find new music (good and bad) based on intelligent commentary and the diverse musical choices on RP than the robots on FM. Cheers.
