Nice! I still prefer Emmylou's version on "Live at the Ryman" though.
Great Album. Dar WIlliams and John Gorka do a great duet on it "while roving on a winter's night".

Syd Straw covered this Foster tune on her debut disc 'Surprise' in the late 80's. It is a great record to pick up in the bargain bin, and has a tune where Michael Stipe guests. Recommended.

Not every day you hear people doing old Stephen Foster tunes. This ain't half-bad, I love Darol Anger's fiddle in this version. But there's a version of this one on Emmylou Harris and the Nash Ramblers "At The Ryman" that is just outstanding.
I don't like country music but Willie Nelson has an infectious sound. I like this song.
