but who is giving out the 1's ??
I gave it a 1 - this really blows. It seems like here music gets progressively worse with each album. What happened to her? After her debut years ago, I had her pegged as one of the brightest young artists to come along in years. What a let down. This should be removed from the playlist. She has a powerful voice, it would be nice if she did something with it again besides making me want to turn down the volume.

This all worked on the first two albums. man there was soul in the first two albums. now it sort of has a been there done that feel. but who is giving out the 1's ??

I agree with all the comments about the homogeneity of ME's music, and yet I find it to be a formula that has a certain appeal in well measured doses. I have a CD mix of her music which I've found to be ideal for running. Too bad I don't have this new one in the mix: "It only hurts when I breathe."

I agree, gypsy. I had pretty much lost interest in Melissa, but this one sounds pretty good, despite the relative homogeneity of her music over the years.
