Come on closer
I wanna show you
What I'd like to do
You sit back now
Just relax now
I'll take care of you

Hot temptations
Sweet sensations
Infiltrating through
Sweet sensations
Hot temptations
Coming over you

Gonna take it slow babe
Do it my way
Keep your eyes on me
Your reaction
To my action
Is what I want to see

Rhythmic motion
Raw emotion
Infiltrating through
Sweet sensations
Hot temptations
Coming over you

And now you're satisfied
A twinkle in your eye
Go to sleep for ten
And anticipating
I will be waiting
For you to wake again

Hot temptations
Sweet sensations
Infiltrating through
Sweet sensations
Hot temptations
Coming over you

Hot temptations
Sweet sensations
Infiltrating through
Sweet sensations
Hot temptations
Coming over you

Hot temptations
Sweet sensations
Infiltrating through

Coming over you

Though, actually, I'm not entirely sure its a real guitar.  It "feels" like a scratch DJ or producer playing with a loop.

But it sounds good. That´s what counts
Another sucks song
This is about as close as Bill gets to the hip hop

Something wrong with the track? (physically, I mean) {#Whisper}

Supposedly has a new album coming this year. This was one of the best of 2004, IMHO! Love her.

Loving the Bollywood strings, but maybe that's the only good thing about it. Still, that's somehow good enough.

Big hair, smoke, and the quintessential tight white jacket.  Typical 80's band.

I wonder what ever happened to the Holograms?

Britney Spear's folks copied the hook chord progress fro this.  Bad Brit!
{#Puke}
Too repetitive and simplistic sounding.  The same Dah-da-DAH-da  a million times.

My first thought was "Kaun Hai Jo Sapno Mein Aaya" -- that old Rajendra Kumar. But I don't think that's it, tho it does have that typical million-violins sound which is similar to the one sampled here.
GOT IT! Now I can sleep peacefully. Baharon Phool Barsao (also a Rajendra Kumar/ Mohammad Rafi song)

I like voice - a lot. Her lyrics are her own and I like them too. With the production style it all works - for me.
HOT!! Check out the lyrics. Erotic, with a capital E.

I saw at V-fest a couple of years ago. And she said, about one of the songs, that it was written about 24. Not sure

you actually need rock to headbang, right? I totally agree with Daniel. Hope this is a one time mistake. Don't play R&B Bill... This is almost destiny's child... YUCK!

It was used in the ad campaign for the first season of Desperate Housewives.

I like this. If I had ever been a headbanger I would know what to do right know.
Yuck, what is this? Teen pop? Sounds like a plethora of other less than talented starlets. Mute.
Any idea when she is coming out with a new album?
Jem managed an entertaining set live at Bonnaroo a couple years back, without the production details that help make her trax tasty.

I do, too... It's got just enough badass guitar riff to make me want to get out the thigh-high boots and stick it to some fool on the dance floor.

I seem to remember this popping up in ads for the movie "Closer," but I don't recall it being used in the movie.
I thought it was Supreme Beings.

Song kinda Morcheeba ripoffish........ But...not nearly as good as Morcheeba
I'd hear this kind of music if I turned on MTV(for the first time since Beavis and Butt-head got canceled). Meh.
I bet you heard it from "Grey's Anatomy". Check here: (click here) That show uses alot of Jem in the episodes. Good show too.

Ok now soap fans. Doesn't that one instrumental part sound like the intro to "Like sand through the hour glass so are the Days of our Lives"? I'm not a soap fan but I do have a memory for music. This sampled crap sometimes gets on my nerves. Whatever happened to musicians workin for a living? The music was even better that way too.

Yeah, no kidding! Sounds like Brittney meets Mary J. meets some slick producer/ label in a marketing strategy-induced dream... but it does have a groove; though understandably hard to respect...

This seems very Brittney/all-of-the-other-ones-like. Not what I think of hearing, here. Kind of blah and boring and ....annoying.

Jem's got a zen thing goin on! Her Finally Woken album is really good.

Great sexy lyrics are easy for anyone to do, but does that mean the song constitutes as music? I'm going to lower my "acceptable" rating .... bleech.

Oh man, that's not right.
It's not Grey's...it was used in commercials for "Desperate Housewives" in the first season. She has a very sexy sound. Most of the other songs on the album are more poppy. I wish the album was more like this song.

Is this the theme song played on Grey's Anatomy? Sounds like it, but not sure... don't remember at this moment. the show's pretty good - trying to figure why this fits...

Gotta be just one of the dullest tracks heard on RP for a long while - I'm typing to the same yawn, yawn beat...

I lost it at "Heart's temptations, sweet sensations" No more Jem!!
I first heard Jem on RP last year and wanted more -unfortunately the album was not available in the UK, so when I was in the States I bought it. Since then I have played it loads and I never tire of her voice (but then, I am a girl!!). Coincidently, the album has just been released in the UK and I think that "They" is the first single - a great choice :nodhead: \:D/
This is a pretty good song, in a style I generally don't care for... But lets not kill it with overplay please...

When I first heard Jem, I thought she had a wonderful voice that reminded me a lot of Dido. I saw the CD on sale for under 10 dollars, and thought, sure, I'll get that. Well, the first time I listened to it I loved it. The second time, it was ok, and the third time, I was bored with it and gave it to my girlfriend. She does have a nice sound, but her lyrics are a bit on the uninspired side. I agree though, lose the hip hop lyrics, jam with some instruments a bit, and open up some with the lyrics and she would be amazing. This was probably my favorite song on the CD.
I'll bet your girlfrined was happy to get a CD you deemed too boring for your own collection. :-) I actually feel the same way about the album, but I wasn't thrilled with this song much.
Nice Mix for an overnight jam for project due... Yep, Right on mix of hard & soft... Got my attn. I'm awake! I can just see her crossin' the room...
great song about seduction...
At first I thought this was a Dido song I hadn't heard before. Then..... it's ah-ite.
For some reason this chick lasted one listen for me. First time I've heard each song, they were OK, kinda catchy. But now, I just find them pretty damn boring.
unoriginal, uniteresting and unbelievably bad....On par with that Spears chica.

No. This girl is wide awake and has a social conscience. Her music deserves as much attention as Brittney's, though. I got this mini-album from RP and adore everything about it. My favorite new disc of 2003 despite all my anti-pop sentiments.
Brittney, is that you?
There was a free iTunes Download of a JEM track that was OK recently
