I'm at the point where this song has been overplayed on RP.Good song for me,but I don't need to hear it anymore, for a long,long time.

I hear the Rusted Root influence (along with a little Barenaked Ladies, U2, Stan Ridgway, INXS), but Rusted Root is much more appealing, IMHO. Their grooves go much deeper, with stronger musicianship and just a superior sound.

There's something in those first few lines of each verse where the meoldy (harmonic minor?) sounds reminiscent of Dave Matthews' Halloween. Or was it Don't Drink the Water. I dunno. You can ignore me if you want.

I liked this song the first time I heard it, but now that I've heard it a few times it's starting to annoy me for some reason. Maybe it's the falsetto voice on the chorus. The band rips, though. You can keep playing it, I guess, but if you stopped playing it, I don't think I'd miss it. Mixed feelings on this one.
