I Agree.  GREAT TUNE!  Thanx RP!
Some serious groove going on here
I can dig it.  Good grooves.
one of the best live shows I have seen…
Excellent! I never heard of them before. Thank You RP!
This makes me want to consume some high-end cocktails, seated on a comfy dark leather sofa, delivered by a far-too-hot server in a sexy black dress (she's in grad school and this is her side gig...the tips are good)...
An exotic cocktail of American musics.
I would call this Trip Hop, the BPMs are consistent w/ Hip Hop but it has the softer edges of House. It's very "soft" for Trip Hop but I think it fits. Maybe Down-Tempo? Any DJ's out there that can help?

Mine, too.  Except in my book, that's not a good thing.

Smoove.

Gorgeous cover-design!

You know it's not illegal to like something electronic, but it seems thats the way you think looking at your ratings.
Love the groove, great addition to RP
Lovely ,,, like dancing with my Mercedez! =)

This is GREAT!
They loop the sample of this sample of this song on the TVs at the W hotels. It'll drive you nuts.
Love this album!
Oooof!
Good groove
did I just hear RL Burnside?
they closed their Chicago show last spring with a song "for New Orleans" and broke into a great cover of "When The Levee Breaks"
P.S. Neat album cover art.
Good beat. Different. I like it.

I hadn't realized I was walking into something on this. After a second listen the song seems almost OK, so I don't have a strong feeling either way. It's just a shame to see this kind of ill-feeling in such salubrious environs as RP. You guys should kiss and make up! Update: Third listen has got this up to a 7!
We all know what opinions are like.... in that spirit I offer my own: Been listening to these guys since '96. They are an all-around incredible band. IMHO, their latest offering isn't as powerful as previous efforts, but they're pushing their comfort zone, so they get credit for that. This is the type of live band that gets even the bartenders dancing, and not a soul leaves the joint without an ear-to-ear genuine smile. Spread the gospel: Galactic has arrived!
I love this! Of course I love just about anything that drH calls crap.

God, I hate this kind of crap.
If the good Dr says its crap, I agree. Actually, that's a bit strong for this song. It gets off to a promising start - I like the keyboard hook - then it goes off in less compelling and consistent directions.
Very Very Boring!
Cool.
Make my Funk the P-Funk, I wants to get funked up.

yeah. good, intelligent, boundary-pushing music certainly does suck, doesnt it?
The only boundaries this is pushing at are the ones it's tied around itself as goes round and round a very tiny circle.
GALACTIC is a great band ... VERY funky. This song doesn't really show that funky, New Orleans groove though. They are one my favorite bands to see live and my favorite to come out of my hometown, New Orleans, in a long time. Glad to see them touring worldwide now.

Sorta like a Funky Moby.

Wow....didn't even recognize the boys. If you ever get a chance to see them live, DO! They are quite a treat live...they really get the crowd grooving and have a fantastic stage presence. They are one of my favorite stage bands.
Horrid.
