Le magnifique! 
Noir Désir does the best cover of Leonard Cohen's "The Partisan" that I've ever heard. Like Cohen's original, it's performed predominantly in English but with a French verse near the end. There are some great YouTube vids of it available.

I just looked at that album cover without my reading glasses on and saw the bare torso of a person with straggly dreads. Can somebody please blur their vision and tell me I'm not being weird...thanks!

I totally agree with your sentiments, and while I have never questioned the choice of music by Bill and Rebecca, I advocate that any song involving Cantat be struck from the playlist until he dies. Unless I'm mistaken, Cantat will still be collecting royalties every time his music gets played - and that's not where I want my monthly payment to RP to go.

Damn. This one hits me with that simple, slappy, acoustic bass line. Rock, after all, is about getting out of your body and into your head. This gets you (or at least me) there. You can imagine an incredible dance routine to this song. I don't like the guitar solo as much though.
